It is conveniently located a 2-minute walk from the main street, restaurants, public baths, shopping streets, etc. It is a 3-minute walk to the ropeway that goes up to Sengoji Temple. It is a 15-minute walk from the station. (3 minutes by bus.)It is an old Japanese house, so it is cold in winter. Those who are not good with old things, those who think that a 15-minute walk from the station is difficult (bad location rating). In many cases, I cannot hand over the key. Communication with guests is often only by email or phone. We ask that you contact us one hour before check-in. Please read the images, descriptions, etc. carefully before making a reservation. Daisenji Shrine, supermarkets, and convenience stores are also about 5 minutes away by car. It is also a good location for walking. This is the only accommodation near Shin-Onomichi Station. The accommodation is a traditional Japanese house, and you will stay in the main house. Limited to one group per day, it can accommodate up to 4 guests. Only one dog can stay with you (but it must be kept in a cage in the tatami room). Because it is close to the Shinkansen, there is noise and vibration every time it passes. It may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to sound. (It is quiet because it does not operate from 11:40 pm to 6:20 am) If you are staying with 2 people, you can have separate bedrooms. Or you can combine two single beds to make a double bed. Please let us know what you need. Please be careful as smoking is not allowed.

You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.

"Log House" on Ikuchi Island

We have the second house in Ikuchi Island. You can stay there whenever we don't use it. Please check in between 3pm and 11pm. Please pick up this house key from the key case on the premises. There is no WIFI in this house. There are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. There is a cafe nearby, but it closes at 5pm. There are no street lamps around the neighborhood. Please turn on the outdoor light when stepping out at night.
