Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not in a holiday park and has its own entrance to the Tilweg. In 2018 it was completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own grounds of 1100m2! From the cottage you can walk into the woods in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

Cozy bakery a stone's throw from the German forests

In one of the quietest places in the Netherlands, you will find our completely refurbished bakery. From the yard, walk into the endless German forests or explore the area by bicycle. Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the private terrace has a comfortable seating area, barbecue, sun loungers and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €15 per person.

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

PLOMPEBLAD GUESTHOUSE GIETHOORN Vrijstaand gelegen met eigen opgang aan de dorpsgracht in het centrum van Giethoorn. Luxe accommodatie en geheel privé. Woonkamer met complete keuken. Slaapkamer op de begane grond en een kleine slaapkamer op de 1ste verdieping. Luxe badkamer met bad en inloop douche. Er is een apart toilet. Buiten een overdekt terras en een terras aan het water. Our apartment with original old elements, is located in Gees in an ancient sheepfold that belongs to our farm from 1748. It is a two-person apartment with living area and kitchen, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. Through the garden doors, you have access to the private terrace. Directly from the apartment, there are plenty of hiking and cycling possibilities in the beautiful nature around Gees. A walk through the centuries-old village with its Saxon farms is also recommended.

As of April 2024, we have a large balcony with a beautiful view over the pond. There is also a picnic bench on the ground floor. Do you have an electric car? No problem. Our farm was built completely new in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a vacation home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit comfortably. 1 bedroom on the ground floor with private bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.
