Chalet holiday rentals in Oppland

We were already there last year, knew what to expect and chose the house again because of that. There is just everything you need, it is very cozy and comfortable, and the ski conditions are perfect. Sitting outside on the sofa in the sun in the afternoon simply cannot be replaced :-) Only the communication for the appointment for the booking was a bit difficult, as we come from Germany and rely on vacation/ferry trips. But it may also be due to the automatic translation. Unfortunately, a short-term cancellation on our side was no longer taken into account in the price. But apart from these formalities: the house and Bjornar are great, I would go back anytime, perfect for a group of 8 people to ski in Kvitfjell!

We felt very comfortable in the small cottage. Everything is available… you can really feel at home. Lisbeth was really super straightforward and helped us with everything. The bedroom facing the street is a bit noisy during the day, but completely quiet from the evening on. The small cottage on Lisbeth's family farm is really a wonderful place to stop for those who want to explore the nature and area of Hemsedal.

We stayed in a group of 8 people (parents, 3 adult sons and their partners) over New Year's Eve for 8 nights in this great vacation home. For 3 reasons, our stay was very successful: 1. Torleif is a very good host who was always available, answered questions quite quickly and proactively provided us with good tips for the stay and how to get there. We are also very grateful that Torleif allowed us to use the still missing cross-country skiing. 2. The cottage is very well maintained, well equipped and testifies to a thoughtful planning. Even with very cold outside temperatures, we always felt comfortable in the house! 3. The house is located at the end of a dead end road directly on the slope to the Fjell. So we were able to get directly to the trails after a short climb. With the help of 6 tours during the bright days, we explored the surrounding area in this impressive landscape. It was an unforgettable experience, tusend tak!

Beautiful location and beautiful authentic house. The five bikes available are ideal for cycling the mountain bike route.

Typical Norwegian fjell hut, quaint, plenty of firewood and water. Good beds and cozy living room with lots of candles (short days in early January). With solar light, you could do enough. In the area very good skiing opportunities (cross-country and trail network within reach). We enjoyed it very much, ideal for relaxing and slowing down, thank you for that.

Great place to explore the region including some hiking trails just few minutes drive from the cabin. Late flexible checkout was appreciated as well!

Nice accommodation in a perfect location. Easy to get to the lift and ski resorts. The host responded quickly.

It's hard not to have your hands over your head after our skiing holiday in Hafjell. Christopher and Snædis have a great cabin/apartment here, and they've just made it easy for a family with children to be there. The beds were made up when we arrived, there were delicious towels and soaps, there was wood for the wood-burning stove and there were toys for the kids. In addition, it is only a snowball throw from all the cool things in Favn. Huge recommendation from here!

Great stay! Highly recommended. Good communication with Berit. Perfect for the 19 of us who were on a trip together last week in July. Lovely view and all amenities in order. Only thing that got a little scary for us 5 families with 9 children aged 1-4 was the stairs up to the top floor, which was the type of open staircase and without a baby gate in the bottom and top.
