Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Newly built house + sauna, right by the lake

Cozy little house, 10 meters from the lake, 10 minutes outside Nora. Balcony, sauna, private swimming area, jetty and row boat. Sunsets are best enjoyed in the hammock on the jetty (summer time). The main building is newly built in 2021 with new and fresh kitchen and bathroom. Wood-fired fireplace. Open, bright floor plan. Large windows and glass doors towards the lake. Newly built sauna (ready to use), but outside and gazebo are still under construction. Quiet area with proximity to the forest with nice trails, including Bergslagsleden. Golf course about 3 km away.

House on the Farm

Here you can experience the silence and take a break from life. Close to nature and swimming. In the house, there is an electric sauna and access to a spa bath outside. At our own lake, you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna and swimming in the lake, why not a trip on the lake with the raft in silence. Access to 2 bicycles is available, for a ride in the surroundings. No smoking indoors in the entire property, smoking outdoors allowed. In winter, we charge a fee of SEK 200 for ice hole making if guests wish to swim in the winter

Lakeside accommodation in a quiet environment

Welcome to Siggeboda Gård by Lake Usken in the heart of Bergslagen! Here you stay in our cozy farmhouse on two floors with a view of the lake and grazing horses. Our private bathing area with pier, rowing boat and canoe is at your disposal during the summer months. The house is fully equipped and if anything is missing we will fix it. We have bicycles to rent out if you want to pedal off to Nora Anna's café or exercise around the lake. Uskavi is a few hundred meters away with café, lunch restaurant and mini golf etc.

Lovely house in the countryside

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all amenities from our time but with saved details from before. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's sights are close to the distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are fur allergic.

Family-friendly Lindesby, rural location, close to Nora

Welcome to our nice house in cozy Lindesby. Large house with all amenities, lovely country kitchen (renovated in 2021), living room with fireplace. Four bedrooms with room for 6-8 people. Quiet location in small genuine village. Close to forest and swimming lakes. But there is also a grocery store and school. 20 km to the picturesque town of Nora. The house shares land with a larger house where the landlord lives. Perfect house for those who plan to move to Sweden while you are looking for your dream home.

The main cabin has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a toilet, and a living room that can accommodate 5-7 guests. The view from the house and the guest cabin for two overlooks the stream Göljestigen. Relax in this peaceful place and experience all that nature has to offer. Hiking, MTB trails, waterfalls etc.

The house is located in the middle of the forest, it is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are 3 lakes within 20 minutes walking distance and there are more than enough opportunities for walking, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, boating, motorcycling, etc. Open canoes (2) and the hot tub are available for rent. Charcoal is available for purchase.

Västanvik, close to Östgötaleden's hike, Vättern's coves and swimming, walks, a quiet moment and possible day trips to Motala, Askersund, Medevi, Vadstena, and more! Motala with Varamonbaden only about 20 min by car is the largest lake bath in the Nordic countries and offers a wonderful beach. Also suitable for golf weekends with proximity to, for example, Motala GK, Vadstena GK and Askersunds GK.
