Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Orkland

We were greeted by a very pleasant host and we got a tour of the farm. The kids got to feed the calves and watch the animals in the barn. The storage room was very cozy and spacious. Well-equipped and good beds😊 Recommended!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at the most beautiful Sætra to Monika. Setra is surrounded by beautiful surroundings and has a formidable view. This is the perfect place to celebrate New Year's Eve! The four-legged people also had a great time outside in the enclosure that is around Sætra. This is a place that is even nicer than in the pictures, and has everything you need for a nice stay. Monika was available and very helpful. Thanks for us - we'd love to come back!

We were two families with four kids ages 1-7 who had a nice weekend at this lovely place! The house is nicely located not too far from the water, and with nice terrain for walks right from the cabin. Trine responded quickly and accommodating to messages. Recommended!

Perfect place for our purpose of stay! Did a job in a nearby village and wanted a cabin where we could rest our weary bones and minds. And rest we got. The cabin sits far up on a hillside surrounded by forest greens (at least in the summertime when we visited). You can almost touch the quiet. If you want to get away from the hectic environment of modern society, or just get some value out of your vacation money, this is a priceworthy place to stay at for sure!

If you're looking for a nice, simple but comfortable retreat into nature then it does not get better than this place. The forested environment really gives you a feeling that you can retreat into nature. The cabin itself is great and cosy and the woodstove and wood heated sauna are excellent add-ons. Combined with a great host, I cannot recommend this more, an absolute must if you like to spend your holidays close to nature.

Conclusion: Well-equipped, clean, comfortable, lovingly decorated Norwegian mountain hut in a beautiful natural location. Highly recommend! Communication with Anita went smoothly and requests were immediately helped. What to know about the cabin in winter: There is no way to get to the cabin, which you can drive by car. If it has snowed heavily before, you have to transport the luggage and food about 150m through deep snow and darkness. (Don't forget flashlight. In Norway it gets dark early.) If it snowed heavily overnight, you have to shake your way down the next day. The drive to the cabin requires very good knowledge in winter with very winter road conditions. Food should be taken in sufficient quantity in advance in winter if possible, as you are heavily dependent on weather up there in winter and you may not be able to drive into the valley for a day. Good for nature lovers.

We had a wonderful stay at Brit Anne and Ola’s cabin Midgard. The location is truly beautiful and surrounded by nature, with a lake just 50 meters away. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for peace and relaxation or a cozy location (especially in winter season) The cabin was very clean and well-equipped, and we felt at home right away. Even though the weather wasn’t always on our side, we really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Brit Anne and Ola were kind and thoughtful hosts, and we’re very grateful for their hospitality. We’d love to come back one day!
