The nearest station is Kintetsu Toji station, about 5 minutes walking. 20 minutes on foot from JR Kyoto Station, about 10 minutes by taxi. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka.
