Guesthouse at Oxdjupet near the sea

The guest house was built in the early 1900s and has stone walls, lilac hedges and cherry trees that frame the house with a small patio. In mid-May, the cherry trees bloom around the house, closely followed by the lilac. In early summer, the house is embedded in red roses. There is a patio with a barbecue grill, gas is included, and a veranda upstairs overlooking Oxdjupet. The house has two bedrooms upstairs, The rooms are divided by a curtain in the doorway. See picture. Living room downstairs with a bed 120 cm and sofa. The kitchen has a dining area, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fridge with small freezer compartment. There is no dishwasher No freezer Lovely forests for running, forest walks with berries and mushrooms after the season. Great chance to see fallow deer, red deer, moose, sea eagle and many butterflies. 15-20 minutes walking distance to the beach on Rindö or on the Värmdö side. Oxdjupet beach club, café is 5 min walk from here, why not have breakfast here? Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee. Sometimes it is visited by concerts and magic performances! 🥂 Fredriksborg Fortress, Orangery and hotel are close for cultural experiences and good food. The cheese factory, Syster & Jag Rindö is also within walking distance and is recommended! Reached by ferry, which is free and runs until about 10:20 pm. Please check current timetable! A country store is located on Rindö, otherwise the nearest grocery store is in Vaxholm, Hemmesta or Mölnvik. Detached cottage in fantastic Täljö - With private sauna! The house has a kitchen and a bedroom with two single beds. Large wooden deck with morning sun and daytime sun. The forest is just around the corner with nice trails. There are bicycles to borrow for excursions. Charcoal grill available for nice barbecue evenings! 5-minute walk to the train, and 35 minutes by train to Stockholm. (Cost for train about 3.5 Euro) TV with Chromecast. Free WiFi. It is about 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest swimming lake, and by bike it is about 7 minutes.

The house consists of a double bedroom with sea views, sleep with the window open and hear the waves. Social room with fully-equipped kitchen, sofa and armchairs. Patio in two directions with both morning and evening sun. There is a small pebble beach directly adjacent to the house, 20 meters from the house there is also a wood-fired sauna that you can borrow. Swimming dock available 100 meters from the house.

Direct ferry connection from Stockholm takes about 1.5 hours. Possibility to explore more islands from Vaxholm. Large plot and jetty for swimming shared with us. Not suitable for small children.

A charming little house built in 1924, one of Kolvik's first. A peaceful place with forest plot, wildlife, lake views from both windows and terrace. Swimming dock and small beach 300 meters from the house. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the bus that takes you to town in 30 minutes. There are also grocery stores and restaurants. Mölnvik shopping center is 10 minutes away by car/bus. Bicycles can be borrowed to pedal up to the store. You can also take the commuter boat to/from town from Ålstäket, 5 minutes away by car.

Charming guest house on Northern Lagnö

Take a break and unwind in this peaceful oasis near the sea. Norra Lagnö is only 20 minutes' drive from the lock and 5 minutes' drive from Gustavsberg where you will find a Coop, Systembolaget, etc. Please note that the bathroom and washing machine are 10 meters away in the basement of the main building (to which the tenant has sole access). SUP boards are included if you want to get out on the water, as well as the possibility to borrow bicycles. If you come by boat, there is a berth. Welcome!

On Resarö, Vaxholm's archipelago, there is a small cottage with bathrobe distance to the morning swim. Double bed (160 cm wide), with kitchenette, fridge and small freezer, toilet, shower and private veranda with sofa and table included. For couples/mini families. Eat strawberries and cherries from the garden. Enjoy!
