There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

Former traditional Japanese confectionery shop(Machiya house). Good access to the Tadanoumi port(about 10 minutes walk) and JR Tadanoumi station(2 minutes walk). You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.

Our guest house is located in Tosayama, in a natural mountainous area, about 20 mins' drive from the centre of Kochi City. You can jump into a clear river with 1 min's walk! The building is a 70-year-old house self-renovated by us, where you can feel the old local culture of Japan. We offer a variety of activities to experience the nature and culture of the Tosayama, such as visiting shrines known only to locals, trekking tours to deep forest. 築220年超の藍商の屋敷／季節野菜・果物の収穫体験付き
