There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross country trail just behind the cabin, and you can go on an alpine ski just outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

Welcome to the mountain hut in Rondane

Welcome to Rondane National Park! The cabin is located 2 km from Mysusæter, and 2 km from Spranget (the national park starts here). The cabin is located on top of Rondane mountain plateau with the possibility of both short and long trips. For example, you can walk up to the top of Ranglarhø right behind the cabin and get a beautiful view, walk down to Brudesløret, or you can walk or cycle from Spranget to Rondvassbu and plan a top trip from there. It is possible to take a top trip as a day trip from our cabin and the opportunity to rent a bike at Spranget.

We live on a small farm with pets and a kitchen garden. On the outskirts of the yard on the farm there is a detached house from 1979. The house is family friendly and has a great view. It has 5 bedrooms and associated common rooms. With nature reserves and national parks around us on all sides, it is a good starting point to spend your vacation here. Great hiking terrain, short distance to Grimsdalen a mountain valley with free-range livestock and a rich plant and animal life. It is part of the Tour de Dovre cycling route.

Simple and peaceful accommodation on a farm with a central location only 2 km from Otta city center. The house is located by itself on the farm in rural surroundings. Here you can relax and enjoy the sunset from both the porch and the sofa. The house has all the facilities and is suitable for couples. Velkommen til Viking-gården Sygard Listad. Her bor du på historisk grunn. Viking-kongen Olav den Hellige bodde her i 1021, for å forberede slaget mot kongen i Gudbrandsdalen. Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.
