Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Our charming guesthouse has everything you need for a relax stay. Located on the countryside, surrounded by grassland and green. Explore the area with the bikes which are included! You can reach the sea and beach of Callantsoog within 10 min. (car). Small town 't Zand with supermarket, bakery and restaurant is only 5 min. away. Visit Schagen with bars and restaurants, shopping and different kind of events in less than 10 minutes. Cheese-city Alkmaar is only 30 minutes away, and Amsterdam 1 hour.

Hello, we are Bart and Marieke and rent out a unique accommodation located on the waterfront in the center of Kolhorn. You can unwind under the veranda and have canoes at your disposal with which you can explore the beautiful surroundings and the picturesque village of Kolhorn. It is located on the Westfriese Omringdijk, where you can take beautiful cycling or walking tours in the area. You can enjoy the beach and the cozy city of Schagen with the West Frisian Market every week in the vicinity.

The Cabin of Greenland

A lovely private place with its own garden to completely unwind. The Cabin of Greenland is a modern wooden house. Built in 2020 and located on our family property with monumental barn from 1640. From your own garden or through the large windows you can see the sun rise, you have a view of the bulb fields, old North Holland mills and around you you experience the lively nature. You are surrounded by greenery and the cheerful presence of various animals that sometimes come by for a while.

B&B Wellness "De Bourgondische Lelie"

Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Dream away in the hot tub (optional €45 first day/€25 next days, will be stoked for you) under the stars and enjoy the silence. Wake up with sunrise and a view over the meadows. In our "B" you will find yourself in a Special, Extraordinary, Cozy Outdoor Retreat. Inside and outside our Buitenhuis, you will definitely be happy at first sight! Enjoy a relaxing stay in this completely newly built vacation home. Our "B" is located in the countryside, surrounded by meadows and greenery. Nearby villages are: Oudesluis (100 m), Anna Paulowna (4 km), Callantsoog beach (10 km); cities Schagen (8 km), Den Helder (20 km) and Alkmaar (22 km).

Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back, a spacious garden room with fireplace and next to it a private garden. You can heat the garden room with the fireplace. In winter, it may be too cold to sit there with just the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bathtub and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Wonderful apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
