Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ouray

This bungalow is absolutely the coziest! The layout is charming, and the home is adorable—very well maintained and spotlessly clean. My kids and I loved being greeted by Alice on the front porch every day—she’s the sweetest and friendliest dog ever! All the animals at the ranch are so people-friendly, especially BoMama the donkey, who quickly became a favorite. We’re incredibly grateful for the chance to stay at this peaceful and beautiful Airbnb. Barb and David are truly amazing hosts—so kind, hardworking, and incredibly responsive. Thank you so much for welcoming us to your lovely ranch. My kids can’t stop talking about Alice and are already asking when we can come back!

My colleagues and I stayed at Emily’s place in Montrose, Colorado for a conference, and we had a wonderful experience. The house was quiet, well-stocked, and conveniently located close to everything we needed. Emily was an amazing host—responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. I’d definitely rent this place again when visiting the Western Slope, especially with my family!

Excellent home with wonderful amenities. The home is just as described, the setting is beautiful and convenient to the main roads and Placerville. There is an excellent General Store with breakfast sandwiches, coffee and some necessary items in the town. Alcohol is also available if desired from the store. While about a 25-30 min drive to:from Telluride, the location and amenities really are excellent and worth the short drive to/from town and the skiing. Internet was also fast and reliable making staying connected for business needs possible and needed as connection to cellphone service is limited at the house and you may need to use WiFi Calling instead with your cellphone/service. This worked great for each of us, so once on the WiFi we were connected for voice and text messages for AT&T & Verizon phones.

Perfect location in the heart of Silverton. Quick walk to the best stores and restaurants on Greene St. The house is larger than expected. Great spot for our ski trip.

If you have a group looking to ride OHV at Peach Valley or Dry Creek, this location is perfect. Plenty of room in the house to spread out for a good size group, nice hot tub, and all the things you would need. The host was very responsive for any needs prior to our arrival as well as once we were there.

Glen is very responsive. Great place close two breweries and downtown. Super clean. Everything is nice and new. Nice fenced back yard to let our dog out. Nice park across the street to walk. Will definitely come back.

This was one of our favorite Air B&B’s we have stayed at. The property was absolutely beautiful and a great location. The house was the perfect size and truly felt like home. Stacey was responsive to questions and informative about places to hike, eat and adventure. We truly lived our stay here.

We had a wonderful experience at Laura's place in Ouray. The location was very close to town but provided a quiet and private escape. You do have to drive to get into town, as the house is about 1 mile from restaurants and shops, but it was no big deal as parking was free and easy everywhere we went. The house was very clean and was the perfect space for a family of four. The house included all amenities we needed for our stay, including all kitchen utensils and cookware and even laundry detergent. Overall the house was beautiful and we would definitely stay there again!

A perfectly peaceful, spacious, and homey place with a great location. The kitchen is one of the best I've experienced in countless Airbnbs, and even the foldout couch sleeper was super comfy. I'd happily recommend it and will stay there again if I'm so lucky.

This is one of our favorite stays ever. Tori's loft is sunny, charming, comfortable, and well appointed (without being cluttered). The beds are excellent and the kitchen is very functional! The little patio is relaxing in the afternoons and we love the creek running behind. Our high energy dog loves it here too as we've been able to throw the ball for him out in their hayfield and wear him out, then let him take a dip in the water. We love it so much here that we've stayed 2 months and will look forward to our next visit.

This is the best place to stay at Purgatory Resort. Ski-in Ski-out is an understatement. Literally, skied right to ski lift. I would recommend staying here every trip to Purgatory Resort. Kris is always helpful in every aspect.

My girlfriend and i really enjoyed our stay here, it was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The outdoor kitchen area was a great place to spend some time together and the hot tub was much needed!

Great location and communication. The place is an interesting layout and as the other review said, doesn’t comfortably fit 6+ in the living room BUT since our group skied during the day and went to dinner in the evening it was not a problem! The dining table fit 6 chairs comfortably. Overall great stay

A wonderful little house 🏠 - modern and functionally equipped - extremely clean. A very nice place for visiting the Black Canyon National Park. Would highly recommend to other guests.

Shaves off the cost of being close to Ouray. Really nice being on second floor with sitting on the deck in the cool morning. Mattress is very firm. Fridge and microwave help keep eating costs down.

Our family of four loved staying at Bill's place. We wanted a private, off-the-grid rental with easy access to a fishable river/creek and beautiful surroundings. Bill's place was just that. We loved hiking the property -- there's a beautiful, property trail that goes about a mile through meadows & towards the mountains. The stars at night were unbeatable. My kids loved floating in the creek across the street, and we loved fishing there & also driving about 5 minutes away where we had a good river access & caught lots of gorgeous rainbow trout. The kitchen is stocked with things like sugar, oils, seasoning & some dry goods people have left. Lots of utensils and plates & a great grill & smoker outside. The place is surrounded by cute chipmunks and deer - fun for our kids. One FYI is that there are two Airbnbs on the property - the main cabin and a separate barn with an apartment (which we hadn't realized) but wasn't an issue - other than that, you'll be alone if that's what you want!

I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! This cabin was everything I hoped for and more—cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we felt right at home. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Can’t wait to come back!

Jennifers cabin was absolutely amazing. My best friend and I had such a great time there. Definitely need 4 wheel drive and to be able to manuver in the snow, but totally worth it! The community of people were great and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay. Mike is friendly and responsive, the views are beautiful, and the cabin is spotless. This was our second stay at this cabin and will not be our last—highly recommend!

Teresa went above and beyond for our stay. The cabin was clean and well laid out. It was perfect during our stay. Teresa even let us know we could check in early if we were ready. The forget- me -not cabin was quiet and just what we needed after a long day on the trails. Nice place to sit out front of the cabin and enjoy the mountain air.

Absolutely wonderful find!!! Elk! Deer! Super quiet and peaceful surroundings. The house had everything needed to cook wonderful meals. The couch was fantastic for lounging on while enjoying the wood burning stove. If you’re looking for a place that is close to town, this will not be your place. It takes close to an hour to get to Montrose. Be sure to get all of your groceries and supplies before heading to the cabin. If you’re looking for solitude, you found the holy grail! I’d, absolutely, stay here again!!!!
