Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Overveen

We were kindly welcomed by Annet at the agreed time. As we walked to the cottage, she provided us with tips and tricks in the area and the delicious Italian restaurant in Egmond. Rosaria's is highly recommended! The cottage itself has all the comforts. It is nice and quiet and from the cottage you can be in the dunes, on the beach or in the city center in no time. We had a great time and would love to come back sometime!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

A very nice and cozy place!

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Had a great stay. The house is beautiful with history which we found great. Esther was also very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

A very warm welcome, a quaint cottage with everything we needed on a generous plot that we had access to all of it. Bus stop close by making it easy to visit Gouda and beautiful location. Conchita the host was very friendly but kept away but was easily found with information when we needed it. Weekend spent in Carlijn's chalet pleasant and peaceful. Well equipped, we did not miss anything. A few shops nearby and the beach 10 min away. The host is very responsive and kind. We were there to go to Keukenhof about 40 minutes by car. We enjoyed it with exceptional weather. Thank you again!

Karin's cottage is a dream! We felt right at home Sparkling clean, private, quiet and yet central for many things to do with various possibilities. The house is cozy, well equipped and large enough for 3 - 4 people. Karin is incredibly friendly, nice and helpful and easily accessible. We definitely didn't regret booking Karin's cottage - on the contrary: we were very happy about it. We will be happy to come back!

Great host and great place. Very special venue, extraordinarily peaceful and comfortable with beautiful surroundings explorable by boat. Thank you Erik for taking such great care of us and being so responsive.

The location on the lake is very nice. The property is a little dark at the jetty, but from noon the sun is there. The kitchen is big. The beds were comfortable.

Excellent location! Excellent Host! If you haven’t planned on what to do when in Netherlands just follow the recommendations provided by Michelle. They are much better than what we see on social media. Kids loved the place, lots of activities - play area, garden, games - to keep them busy.

Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Amenities were as described and very nice. The location to the beach is perfect. Communication with Patrick was also straightforward and always timely. I highly recommend the place!

Tiny House was a lovely stay for our family! We’re travelling with 2 kids aged 5 and 2 so it can be a bit tricky booking somewhere that works, but this was a really nice stay for all of us. Rik was really friendly and responsive before and during our stay. Everywhere was clean, lots of thoughtful things like spare bags for shopping, ground coffee, toys for kiddos and the little ones got to feed the chickens and pig too - they loved it. We were going to head into Amsterdam but we ended up staying there for the day. There were some lovely hyacinth and tulip fields nearby, we got to bask in the pretty suntrap garden and as an added bonus we got to see the bloemencorso float by the house in the evening - we were all suitably impressed. Thanks Rik for a thoughtfully appointed and relaxing stay, would definitely recommend Tiny House for travellers with children.

It was a great experience to stay on a boat with the family. It was clean and very comfortable. It is also located in a beautiful setting. Restaurants and train station are within walking distance. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Communication with Simon was quick and hassle-free.

This location offers exceptional privacy and tranquility. The hospitality is outstanding (10/10), and the premises are impeccably clean. We particularly appreciated the fresh, fragrant towels and the bathtub. The pool also appeared inviting, although the wind and cold prevented us from using it. We highly recommend this establishment.

It is one of the most beautiful AirBnbs I have ever stayed in. It is so chic, so trendy, so tasteful and Beau is the best host. She was always responsive, was very flexible with the Check-In, because we stuck in traffic. Beau’s place is amazing. I’ve been there with my husband and my parents for a short trip to the Netherlands to see the Bloemencorso. You get everywhere real quick and having the beach just a short drive or a 15 mins walk away is amazing. Everything looks exactly like the pictures and the kitchen is well equipped to have breakfast, lunch or dinner at the most beautiful table. Cors little cottage in Dirkshorn is just wonderful. We felt very comfortable, you really have everything you need for a fantastically beautiful holiday week with a child. Cor was incredibly nice and very accessible. 100% recommendation!

Frank's house looks like the photos. We felt very comfortable right away. It is very comfortably furnished. The location is perfect for those seeking tranquility and relaxation and appreciate the proximity to the beach.

Chris's house is very nice and has everything you need and even more for a comfortable stay, it has a beautiful view from his balcony and his arrival is very easy. Chris was very kind to us, he allowed us to store our bags in his house while the check-in time was being met, he lent us his bikes for a good walk and was always attentive to our messages. Nearby there are supermarkets, the area is very quiet and beautiful and a few blocks away you can take the bus to go to Amsterdam. Accommodation 10 of 10.

the place is great, marleen was accommodating and easy to contact. we love that its walking distance from the dunes and the beach.

My two children and I felt very comfortable in Sjeela's apartment. We liked the quiet location, the small garden, the beach and the way there very much. The nearby tulip fields were also a dream.

It was lovely staying at this house! Fantastically furnished and all you may need is there. Nice parking space, nice garden and lots of restaurants in the area. A lovely place to come back to with a super friendly host who was always available.
