This is a private rental accommodation in a renovated 45-year-old wooden house located in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. We are renovating it to make it comfortable for modern people to use, while maintaining the good points of an old house. It features a space where old and new materials coexist and you can feel the natural environment, including the garden. Even large groups can use it comfortably. We hope you can relax and use it as a base for sightseeing in Hokuriku and climbing the Northern Alps. There is a monitor, so it is also recommended for workations. We also have a range of appliances, cooking utensils, and seasonings. We have preserved the structure of the pre-war building and rebuilt the water system. Staying in an old house allows you to experience a different kind of life than your usual daily routine. Popular tourist spots such as Omicho Market, Ozaki Shrine (dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu), and Oyama Shrine (dedicated to Maeda Toshiie) are within walking distance. You can enjoy the charm of the ancient capital of Kanazawa. Mutsuwa Shicho, which overlooks the garden scenery, is an accommodation that offers a garden and balcony, and is about a 14-minute walk to Kenrokuen. This is a guest house in a renovated 120-year-old traditional house located in the traditional streetscape (Yamamachi-suji) of Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. Located about a 10-minute walk from Takaoka Station, it also has good transport links to Toyama, Kanazawa, the Amahara Coast, Himi, Tonami, and Shirozaki. If you have a car, you can also quickly access Noto, the World Heritage Sites of Gokayama and Shirakawa-go, the Kurobe-Tateyama Alpine Route, and Takayama for sightseeing. It can be used as a base for sightseeing in Takaoka, not only in Yamamachi-suji, where it is located, but also in Kanayamachi, the town of castings (10-minute walk), Takaoka Daibutsu (10-minute walk), Takaoka Castle Ruins (15-minute walk), and Zuiryu-ji Temple, a National Treasure (25-minute walk). From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance.
