No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Kestrel's Nest is located in the centro storico of beautiful hillside town Irsina. The house is situated on the walls of the historic town and has stunning views over the valleys and hills that surround the town. The house name was chosen because every year late April a pair of kestrels have chosen the balcony as their nesting place. These beautiful birds have been returning each year for at least five years to nest. The same has been the experience with previous guests - they always return!

Stone loft with balcony overlooking the sea

Built between the 1300 and 1400s, a stone loft overlooking the Adriatic Sea. This building was first used a cannon house and throughout the following years served as a warehouse, a coal pit and an atelier of a renowned local painter.
