This space is an entire basement floor with a private entrance, one bedroom, a relaxing separate living room, and luxurious bathroom with a private sauna. The hot tub and front porch overlook beautiful Pike's Peak. We are minutes from downtown Woodland Park with cute local restaurants, parks and shops. We can't wait to share our favorite city with you!
“We have stayed at some beautiful Airbnbs, but this one just topped them all. The home itself is beautiful with lovely touches everywhere you look. The view is out of this world as it sits in the woods overlooking pikes peak. We usually don’t like staying out of the city, but being up about 2500 feet higher made all the difference. Plus the 25 minute drive from downtown Colorado Springs is through a winding mountain road that doesn’t get any less beautiful the more you drive through it. Craig was also a great host who was responsive and friendly, even after our dog started acting like a dummy to his friendly pups. Hot tub and sauna are just added bonuses. You are making a mistake if you come to the area and stay anywhere but here. Also they left us a lovely bottle of wine. Be sure to check out Carlos Bistro as well. Best dining experience we have ever had- worth every penny- and they have half price wine bottles through November.”
Cozy Basement with comfy full size bed, private bath, and private living area is yours to enjoy. The large living area has full size futon (folds down into a full sized bed), TV with cable and Roku, 6-port USB charger, coffee/tea. Located in a beautiful neighborhood; my house is close to Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, Seven Falls, etc. I have 2 dogs that live here full time, and even though they will greet you as you enter they will stay out of your area.
“I stayed at Cheryl’s place for two months while completing my internship. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, Cheryl made sure I felt at home everyday! She was SO kind to me and helpful. Her dogs are adorable and very sweet! I will definitely stay here again. Her basement is cozy and private. The bed is so comfortable! She made sure I had everything I needed and the space was clean! Cheryl is an amazing host and person!”
The Lil Lincoln sits at an elevation of 9,560ft. and was originally built on the Western Slope of Colorado in the 50’s and was moved in 1965 to it’s current location near Woodland Park. The story behind the move was that a doctor moved his practice in 1959 to Woodland Park. He wanted his nurse to join him, she said she'd move if he moved her cabin. Well he did, and so did she.
“Our stay at Lil Lincoln was the exact escape that we needed during this crazy time. The cabin is absolutely adorable, the hosts are friendly and extremely helpful, and the view is just unbeatable. Between the huge deck with a view of Pike's Peak, the notebook filled with local attractions, and various games to play at the cabin, this place really does have everything. We can't wait to come back and experience it again in the winter!”
