The house is located in quiet surroundings and there are many opportunities for hiking in forests and swimming in the sea. The city center of Fredrikstad and the college, is only 20 minutes away by foot. 5 minutes to the free ferry that takes you to the old town or city center. Welcome to beautiful Vesterøy at Hvaler! Here is our idyllic cottage with lovely views and proximity to the lake, beach and hiking areas. Within walking distance from the cabin you will also find the grocery stores, it is a 10 min drive to Fredrikstad and we have a boat a stone's throw from the cabin that you can also rent. The cabin is newly renovated; has inlaid water (shower, toilet, dishwasher and washing machine) , internet and TV. Two large patio's with dining area and sofa/lounge Fire pit, grill and pizza oven.

The apartment is located in a scenic area with a short distance both to the city and the forest. It is a 3 min drive to grocery stores, bakery and pharmacy. (walking distance 15-20 min). At the shopping center there is also a free city ferry to the old town and to the city center. There is easy access to great hiking areas in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. The apartment also has a sunny outdoor area for use. Hosting is available for assistance and guidance. We have English, German and French.

Cabin by the sea.

Great cabin where you live "on" the water. The cabin is located at Ystehede, by the Iddefjorden, about 10 km from the center of Halden. Here, guests have access to a floating jetty with a bathing ladder, as well as a beach consisting of stone and sand. Here there is outdoor furniture, a gas grill and opportunities to moor your own boat. Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.

Spacious and nice apartment in a secluded location on Vesterøy on Hvaler. Parking space available. Walking/bike distance to swimming areas and hiking trails. Several beaches with good parking facilities nearby. From the city center on Vesterøy there is a bus both further out towards Skjærhalden and into Fredrikstad. Here you can enjoy the silence with a cup of coffee in the sun, take a walk in the forest, a bath in the sea and explore Hvaler's sights.

Short distance to the city center, 3 cafes in the immediate vicinity, grocery store on Kråkerøy or in the city center. Peaceful and nice area. Little traffic. Public parking in the street in marked places, for a fee 08:00 to 18:00 on weekdays, until 15:00 Saturday and free on public holidays.
