The house is in a particularly quiet village of Juokseng on the Swedish side of Tornionjoki. Suitable for families, fishermen, snowmobilers, berry pickers, skiers, hikers or people who just like nature. The yard is big for outdoor games and the beach is nearby. There are also skiing centers within a 12-20 km radius. The river is less than 1 km away. The village store is approx. 1 km. There is another cottage in the same yard that can also be rented.The sauna is shared by both cabins, if agreed.

hand built round log traditional lapland cabin, located on the edge of lake kinisjarvi near lohiniva, half way between rovaniemi and levi. beautifully simple and with everything you need, one of us must meet you on the other side of the lake when you arrive and take you to cabin on snow mobile or by boat (depending on time of year). we have a hand built separate sauna and a wood fired hot tub on site, (hot tub charges apply) plus lake side fire pit and of course log fire in cabin.

After the sauna, drop off the beach in the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, another sauna and a lot, can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo for grilling and a rowing boat. The area is free from light pollution, making it an ideal spot for watching the Northern Lights if they appear.
