Where to begin. We chose Jesse’s place to begin our family trip to Portugal and it set the tone in all the right ways. From the recommendations to take a tour with Nuno & Grapeland to dinner cooked by the neighbors, we didn’t want to leave. Jesse & his neighbors even helped us out of a ‘rite of passage’ moment when we got our car a bit stuck on a vineyard road during the nationwide power outage. We truly hope to return one day and the memories of this trip will last us a lifetime. The photos will never do the place justice as it consistently took our breath away.

Ótima experiência, recomendo imenso. A casa é muito aconchegante e bonita, encontra-se numa localidade muito calma e sossegada. Estava tudo conforme o anúncio, cozinha espaçosa, sala com aquecimento (muito agradável), a casa está bem equipada. Em relação a anfitriã, a Ana esteve sempre disponível para qualquer dúvida e esclarecimento, com um tempo de resposta muito rápido. Foi uma experiência muito boa, se tiver oportunidade com certeza irei voltar. Muito bom !

Zeer charmant en ruim vakantiehuis met privé verwarmd zwembad, ruime leefruimte met zeer goed uitgeruste keuken, terras, tuin, vijf ruime slaapkamers en vijf badkamers. Er zijn verschillende supermarkten, bakkers, cafés en een mooi park op wandelafstand van het huis. Alfena zelf is geen heel bijzondere stad maar de locatie is ideaal om uitstappen naar Porto, Braga, Valongo en Guimaraes te maken. De host is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze kinderen waren gek op de hond en kat.

This apartment, or rather a tiny house, was so tastefully decorated and it had everything needed for a week stay. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful dishwear, super appliances! Modern and comfortable. Internet was reliable for two people remote working. The host was available and super friendly. Just one note: the shower door opening is only 31cm wide. This is not very accessible. A wider opening door or shower curtain would be better. Other than that, everything was just perfect. The apartment has beautiful details that give unique character to it, so delightful! A/C units with heating both downstairs and upstairs were very efficient but quiet, an absolute plus! Because the weather was stormy most days during our stay, we couldn’t enjoy the terrace but it was really lovely. Would love to stay in this apartment in the summer too!

Нам понравилось жилье, хорошо расположено и все необходимое есть внутри. Квартира чистая и комфортная. Единственно что, не работал лифт, но к самой квартире это отношения не имеет.

Logement incroyable ! Mieux que sur les photos ! De l’espace, de la modernité, décoré avec énormément de goût . L’équipement de la maison était parfait ave colis que ce dont nous avions besoin. Une cuisine grande , un magnifique séjour avec une immense baie vitrée. Deux chambres avec salles de bain et une troisième au Rdc. Un vrai havre de paix, un petit paradis. Le jacuzzi juste parfait dont on a pu profité même si le temps n’était pas au rdv. Merci beaucoup pour ce beau logement!!!

Our family of 5 loved our stay in the Chalet. It is in such beautiful surroundings overlooking a waterfall & in a great location for many walks as well as nearby local restaurants. The chalet was warm & comfortable with everything we needed. Pedro’s recommendations & local knowledge was really appreciated. Would love to stay again - highly recommend!

Estadia perfeita, sem nada de mal a apontar. Tanto a Sr.a Ana como a Sr.a que nos recebeu foram muito amigáveis, atenciosas e mostraram sempre disponibilidade. Além disso, a casa estava muito bem limpa e corretamente equipada, tem também a varanda com uma vista divinal para a serra. Uma experiência a repetir.
