Very fancy and cozy place. I liked that there were French doors to separate the bedroom from the living room. Everything was super clean and the person in charge very responsive to emails about questions we had.

We had a wonderful stay. Because we were there for 3 nights, it was important for us to have a place with a comfortable seating area (couch, chair, coffee table) where we can sit and relax together. If a very high bed is an issue, then check that detail with Brendan before booking.

We would highly recommend staying at Sally's place. The place was immaculate with all sorts of super treats and provisions in the fridge. It was a great place for meeting other guests in the relaxing common area outside. The location is perfect..it is possible to walk to all the theaters and downtown. even if you have gammy knees like we do!

I booked this place for friends who were visiting from out of town and they loved it! Brendan was a super communicative host, leaving very clear instructions for check-in/check-out. It's a great location, walkable to all the best spots, and the space itself is gorgeous: well-decorated, clean, everything you want from an Airbnb.

A really beautiful space, exactly what we wanted and everything was just lovely in general. The unit was very clean and tidy. The trip was great and the place was amazing!

Had a wonderful visit with friends. The location was perfect, and we received a warm welcome from the host. The accommodation was quiet, and peaceful, providing a great atmosphere. We really loved the interior design and throughly enjoyed our overnight stay!

Absolutely amazing location and in walking distance to so many great restaurants! We will definitely be coming back to stay!

I stayed at this location for an extended period and can see it being a great weekend or even weeklong lodging. Definitely a place for a couple or a solo traveler. It has a well stocked kitchen and a cozy feel. With old brick walls and wooden floors you feel the history. Up one staircase from ground level you look out on city hall while being close to restaurants and shops. The parking situation is walkable being two blocks away but make sure to drop off your bags before. Also, the shared pool is actually the YMCA by the Cooper Parking lot. Make sure to get a memento at the crystal shop below, buy a book at Fanfare books, get an early morning tea/coffee at The Ashborne Cafe, go for a hot yoga class at Modo Yoga, and book reservation for dinner at Elizabeth!

The Lake Suite at the Henry House was charming, as well as cozy and relaxing. The decor is lovely and is exactly as shown online. Many restaurants, cafes, taverns, etc. are located in the downtown area which is within walking distance so it is not always necessary to have to rely on your vehicle. A theater is even right around the corner! The parking option onsite (if available) is a wonderful add-on. The host, Brett, is very responsive and it is evident that he wants all of his guests to have a very enjoyable visit. I have family in the Stratford area and love having my own cozy space when visiting them. I am sure that I will return to the Henry House … it is a special treat for me and a wonderful place to stay!! Marsha H. Darien, Illinois, USA

Place was very clean and is in a very good location (right downtown). The only suggestion would be an strong air filter to help with some of the smell coming from the other apartments in the building. But overall its a great place and will stay again.

Evanndor is perfectly located just off of Downie St., at the foot of Downtown Stratford, making it the ideal location for a getaway to the Stratford Festival and/or taking advantage of all that the downtown square has to offer! The suite was impeccably clean and the perfect size for a romantic long weekend. Cannot thank Ewa and Martin enough for such a lovely stay with a friendly welcome and top notch service. Will definitely stay again!

The place was exactly as advertised and worked out extremely well. Communication was exceptional and all instructions were very easy to follow and very clear. Brendan was always responsive and excellent to deal with. This is very close to the downtown area, and everything is walkable, lots of great restaurants close by!. I would highly recommend this spot, nothing but positive things to say, great location, great place, great host!

This place is incredible. Serena’s welcomed us with a warm welcome note. The aesthetics of the house gave such Victorian vibes with quotes of Brontë and Shakespeare all over the frames on the walls. Strongly recommend if you want a centrally located place to stay which is walkable to all theatres.

This spot is the definition of charming. Yes, as other reviews have mentioned, it is only accessible by stairs (and another set of even narrower stairs for an extra bedroom), but if you are able-bodied and willing, I can’t think of a homier spot. The owners are so friendly; the living areas are very cozy and cute, but still quite spacious!! The kitchen has every necessary appliance, dish and utensil (and even some snacks in the fridge!), and the bathrooms are extremely clean and large as well. The beds and couches are comfortable and the whole listing is within walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown Stratford (all the theaters included). I couldn’t imagine a better spot for a group trip and I certainly hope to be back!!

We had a lovely stay at The Heron’s Nest. Gerry & Patty were thoughtful and helpful hosts that made us feel right at home. Our suite was the perfect place for us to call home while visiting for a wedding, with a beautiful view of the river, comfortable amenities and easy access to restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Heron’s Nest.

Mine was a last minute reservation and Sally’s Place went over and above to make it work for us. The cleaner did a fantastic job and the food provided for breakfast was perfect for my group.

Perfect location and amenities for a quick stay in Stratford!

Our Book Club has rented this house twice for our annual trip to Stratford the plays. We love having space to spread out, a kitchen so we don’t have to go out every meal and multiple places for us to sit and talk. The updates in the upstairs bathroom are great. We are already planning our trip for next year.
