Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pickens County

Beautiful quiet wooded setting. Ample room, love the 2 dining areas and porches. Steep paved driveway, but could navigate during the spring and room to turnaround at top. Towels were lush and mattresses were average. Electronics all worked and the house was well stocked with a welcome bag of snacks as well as toiletries. Imagine it would be lovely in the fall as well!

We went to Big Canoe for a wedding and rented Chase's ABB. He was the most gracious host and answered every question I had almost immediately! My cousin stayed in another ABB and complained they had to bring their own toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, etc. Chase's ABB provides everything just like a nice hotel would, but you're in a house that feels like you're home! Sitting on the porch listening to the waterfall was so relaxing. We did a little hike down to check it out, and it had a rock slide. Later, I heard some boys sliding down and yelling happily. I wish I had been able to do it! Maybe next time! Getting ready for the wedding was just like we were at our own home. There really aren't enough positive things I can say about Chase and his ABB!! We had the best time and are already planning to go back!

We were in the area for a family wedding and took advantage of all the bed/baths. We had 3 different generations staying in the home and it was comfortable, with common area but also space to decompress. Back patio has a gorgeous few and the basement had a fun rec room. Comfortable, clean, inviting and enough space for 3 different families to settle in, share meals together and get ready for the family celebrations. The whole family said “great job” on the accommodations!

Loved the views from the house, drove by packs of deer. There is a lake nearby with trails that Rush told us about that had a waterfall. My son fished in the lake. Rush was great host his communication was spot on. We would stay there again

We stayed at Jo Anna’s place in Big Canoe and absolutely loved it! The condo was beautiful, cozy, and exceptionally clean—and trust me, I’m very picky when it comes to where we stay. I booked last minute, and Jo Anna was incredibly accommodating, making everything smooth and easy from start to finish. The pictures online don’t do it justice—the place is much bigger and even more comfortable in person. The beds were super cozy, and everything was set up perfectly for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was my husband spotting a black bear while driving up the mountain—such an unforgettable moment! We also played golf and grabbed a bite at Duffer’s—my boys devoured the burgers and fries. Everyone we met in Big Canoe was so friendly; we truly didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Jo Anna, for sharing your lovely place with us. We definitely want to come back soon!

The place was nice with a great view of the mountain side and a nice flowing creek after some rain. We really enjoyed the indoor fireplace, the games for kids, and the views from the living room and primary bedroom. The kitchen was a bit bare in terms of dishes and kitchen utensils and some of the carpet showed that the place was pet friendly, but besides that it was a great stay for a large family.

It was me and my family’s first vacation in the mountains.. IT WAS AMAZING! Everything was easy to find. Molly and Robert were super attentive especially when we left the property only to forget my wife’s phone inside. Molly manually opened the door immediately and was there every step of the way with no issues. Will definitely boo with this wonderful couple again!

I recently spent a weekend at this beautifully appointed house in Big Canoe. It was everything I hoped for—peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The location offered stunning views of the mountains, with crisp air and quiet that made it easy to unwind. The property managers were attentive and responsive, always communicating thoughtfully and addressing any needs promptly. The house is well-equipped, with a fireplace that made chilly evenings especially cozy. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the hills was a highlight, as was enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck while deer passed below. Cooking for a group was a breeze in the fully equipped kitchen. Hiking trails are nearby, offering the perfect way to explore nature during the day. Whether relaxing indoors or adventuring outside, the weekend felt like the perfect escape from everyday life.

This home was absolutely beautiful! We stayed here with our dog and we were very happy to find that the home owners provided a gate to block the staircase leading downstairs. Our dog is slightly blind and has never been around stairs before so we felt so much more at ease being able to block that off safely! Also they provided a dog crate incase we had to leave our fur baby behind which is very helpful one less item to travel with in our car! Everything else about the home is well kept and very clean! When we plan another trip to Big Canoe we will absolutely look to book this home first!

I’m from Vermont but currently live in Jacksonville, Florida, so being able to drive to Big Canoe and see the mountains and trees truly brought me back home. It was the best feeling ever! We loved it so much that we’re planning to come back in May. The cabin is beautiful!

We had a great stay at Heavenly Hideaway! It is such a lovely home in a peaceful location surrounded by nature in Big Canoe. The home had everything we needed! We especially loved the fireplace and the large screened in porch. Our dog enjoyed running around in the fenced area. Would definitely stay again.

Beau's place was perfect for 5 plus a dog. Fully equipped and had all we needed. My daughter and boyfriend took over the basement and there is privacy for all. Loved all the deer we saw and the absolute beauty of Big Canoe. Beau was wonderful and gave great suggestions and was always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend.

We used to live in big canoe, so it was like going back home. The house was amazing and stocked incredibly. The view, privacy and house all top notch.

We had an amazing time at Sunset Mountain Home! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and just as described (actually better). Honesty, the pictures don't do it justice. It's truly a beautiful home and views. The home was incredibly comfortable, well-stocked with everything we needed, and in a perfect location for exploring Blue Ridge. Our host was fantastic—responsive, thoughtful, and provided great local recommendations that made our trip even more special. The little touches, like welcome snacks and cozy decor really made us feel at home. The sunset view from the patio was breathtaking 😍. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful Airbnb experience. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Sheila is a true gem! We evacuated from hurricane Milton and she showed true compassion. She went above and beyond with hospitality and communication. I would highly recommend this Airbnb in big canoe. What a fantastic escape from all the stress at home! We will be back and we will request Shelia’s cabin.

I had an incredible experience at Brad’s mountain cabin this past weekend. Nestled in a private area, the cabin provided the perfect escape from city life. The rustic charm of the place was complemented by modern amenities, ensuring both comfort and a touch of luxury. The surrounding trails offered fantastic opportunities for hiking and exploring nature's beauty, and we even spotted some wildlife, which was a delightful surprise. Brad was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Overall, this mountain cabin getaway was a memorable and refreshing experience. Kevin is a terrific host. He was very responsive to our inquiries and made sure we had the perfect stay at Big Canoe. We thoroughly enjoyed our at The Craftsman Lodge and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

Our stay was perfect. From the delivery of our check-in instructions to the ease of checking out, everything in between went absolutely great. The cabin is spacious and clean. The peaceful surroundings with the sound of the nearby creek was mesmerizing. We came for our daughter’s wedding so our time actually staying at the cabin was limited but when we did have the opportunity- it was relaxing and as listed in the AirBNB listing. We will definitely make plans to return when we can enjoy just the peace and quiet of the property. Pay attention to the mention of having a four wheel drive or lifted suspension vehicle to travel the half mile i to the property. The road is definitely challenging due to the layout and condition of the gravel base but once you enter the property area- it is smooth and parking is wonderful. Just drive slow and take it easy- no problem.

Highly recommend this house-was a perfect place for our family get together. Plenty of space, quiet and had everything we needed. Our group really enjoyed the pool table room, hot tub and outside deck. We love Big Canoe and would love to stay here again in the future!

Comfortable and clean beds, washer/dryer in the basement and the first floor. Well stocked kitchen. TVs and the Internet everywhere. Very nice house in a quiet and very private location. Everyone had a fun.

My friends and I loved this cabin! It was truly perfect.
