Stratford Court is a beautiful Grade II listed home in the heart of the Cotswolds. The tastefully renovated and secluded accommodation is the former Servants' Quarters on the top floor accessed by the original 1600s stone staircase. It really is “Downstairs Upstairs” with two en suite double bedrooms (Hudson & Bridges) and each can be made up with either King Size or Twin beds. This is an idyllic location with stunning views but many amenities and attractions are within walking distance.

Please note this listing is for a minimum of two nights. Ruscombe is a small village, with a live stock farm at the centre, set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Cotswold Way. We have wonderful woodland walks on our doorstep and a beautiful semi wild garden, overlooking pastures, grazing animals and Ruscombe valley. We are 30 minutes walk from Haresfield Beacon via Standish Woods. It is a great place to tour the western Cotswolds including Bath and the River Severn.

Our space is a self contained studio with a bed, sofa, workspace and air con, light and airy it is the ideal base to explore the Stroud Valleys. N.B. THERE IS BUILDING WORK ON OUR HOUSE, THE ANNEXE IS A SEPARATE BUILDING BUT CLOSE TO OUR HOUSE. WORK WILL BE MON-FRI ONLY, BUT THERE WILL BE BUILDING MATERIALS AND MESS IN THE GARDEN. The interior of the annexe will be unaffected, but we have reduced the price to reflect the substandard exterior. Please only book if you understand this.

This is a well equipped studio in the Cotswolds. It's at the end of a singletrack no through road about 1/2 mile from the Cotswold way and at the junction of several footpaths. The nearest towns are Painswick,which is 1 mile away, and Stroud where there is a train station and supermarkets. The studio has a sleeping area with a king size double bed. It is separated by a bookcase from the main living area. where there is also a sofa.
