The place is very beautiful and we spent our time in complete privacy even though the cottage is located at the hosts yard. I recommend this place to everyone who want to spend a peaceful holiday or even a creative/writing work time. The place might work very well with families with small children. Southern Estonia is a very beautiful area with it’s large areas of wheat and corn plots, lovely hills and valleys, diverse hiking places and countless stork nests.

Päikeseraja talu on ideaalne vaimu puhkamiseks - imekaunis loodus ja hubane majutus. Maalilised vaated väljas nii veesilmale kui saunale ning toas küdevale kaminale. Majutuses kõik vajalik kenasti olemas ja igati puhas - mõnusalt kodune! Ja saun veel omakorda kirsiks tordil - mahutab muhedalt saunalisi, saab sulpsata tiiki ning jahtuda end terrassil.

Wir verbrachten Weihnachten 2024 bei Paul. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Leili empfangen und sie zeigte uns alles Wissenswerte. Alle Räume strahlten Behaglichkeit aus. Kerzen zauberten eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir haben jeden Tag in dem gemütlichen Haus bei wärmendem Kaminfeuer und Kerzenlicht genossen. Unsere Hobbyköche zauberten uns in der vollausgestatten Küche täglich leckere Mahlzeiten auf dem Gasherd und dem holzbefeuerten Herd. Die Ruhe, die Spaziergänge in der Natur, die Außensauna. Alles hat dazu beigetragen, den Alltag abzulegen und zu entspannen. Hatten wir Fragen, wurden diese sofort von Paul und Leili beantwortet oder behoben. Der Abschied von Leili war sehr herzlich. Wäre es nicht so weit weg, wir würden sofort wiederkommen. Christine, Michael, Sven, Marie Claire

Bel endroit isolé pour visiter Setumaa. La maison est vaste, confortable et chaleureuse. Vello est très agréable gentil et discret avec des produits locaux mis à notre disposition. Excellent séjour !

Ļoti jauka un kompakta vieta. Piemērota diviem. Ir visas pamatlietas. Liela terase. Teritorija ir nogāzes veidā. Ir pieejams grils. Kubls, protams, par atsevisku samaksu. Paldies saimniekam par izveidoto vietu, kur bija patīkami atpūsties.

We spend a very nice weekend at this small building in the middle of the woods. Romek was a very good host, who helped us with his car (we got stuck once, the road is a bit tricky to drive when it is raining a lot), also he prepared a loveley smoke sauna and answered all questions we ever had. The hut is in the middle of a clearing surrounded by forest, a small stream and small old ruins. There are many wild birds and also beavers closeby to watch, a fireplace and grill outside and a fireplace inside. The hut is very comfortable and cosy. We will definitly consider coming again. :-)
