Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Platte County

This was my second stay during visits to see my son at Fort Leavenworth, which was very convenient. It’s nice having a kitchen and sitting room rather than just a hotel room. If there is an issue or question, I have found Kelly easy to reach and attentive to anything.

this place really felt like home! it was clean and comfortable. my family loved it. I wasn't a fan of the parking around the house/ neighborhood but it's so minor that it can be dealt with. it was hard to get in and out of the driveway because cars were parked behind the drive and there's not much room to turn around. overall the kids enjoyed it and they even met some new neighborhood friends. we will be back in a few months and plan on staying here again!

This place was amazing! Spacious, bright and inviting. An awesome spot for families or a few couples! We would definitely stay again.

I was extremely pleased with my stay here! The room looked exactly like in the pictures, everything was clean and the private bathroom made it feel like a stay at a nice hotel room for a much more affordable price. I had no reason to leave the room much because I had a desk, tv, and even coffee maker right in the room as well. Even so, both the living room and the kitchen looked spotless at all times and surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. I look forward to booking this room again in the future if needed.

Nicole was absolutely awesome. She was respectful and responsive. I had a couple issues with the property. The first issue i had was the location. Although it was across from the Base, I seen a lot of drug addicts around the area. I seen the same beat up cars circling the block or sitting in the parking lot talking to some of the people that appeared to be addicts. My second issue was the noise from upstairs. There was a lot of stomping and banging and screaming. My third issue was the couch. On the left side the back was loose which gave no support to my back. The toilet was loose but when I reported that, Nicole was quick to respond. All that said, I would stay again. I would give the host a 10/10 meanwhile I will give the property a 9/10 and location 4/10.

It was a nice place with a good location. The bed could have been a little better. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

This was such a cute little place, we enjoyed our stay so much! It had lovely decor and was in a beautiful location perfect for walking to local coffee shop. This was one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. It was so lovely!

Enjoyed our visit! Appreciated the Keurig provided with coffee and creamer. We enjoyed putt putt just down the hill and disc golf in a local park. Great place to stay!

Great spot close to the airport and with easy access to other areas. Cool and unique place with the history of being a general store. The place is well appointed, clean, and has everything you need for a quick getaway, if you need an alternative to an airport hotel that’s more home like or just want to stay somewhere different.

This was a great place. Not too far from activities and places to eat. We couldn't get some of the equipment to work, unfortunately the computers were apart of this. Our host did help us try and solve the problem it just unfortunately didn't work. I would have loved to see a guest book but everything else was very clean and a beautiful place to stay. Thank you for hosting us in this lovely home!

Have stayed here twice now. Has worked great for us and no issues. Place is exactly as described and Daniel has been super easy to work with.

Emily was very responsive and accommodating! Her home was beautiful and very clean, which made us feel right at home. It is located in a very quiet area, but just a short drive from downtown restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

Keyless entry in a quiet neighborhood. Very nice. The dogwood trees were blooming. On our second morning there, Two neighbors, (2 birds) gave us a very entertaining minuet in the backyard. The covered back sunroom was ideal for morning coffee. Rooms are spaces. Two big couches with recliners ends were the favorite. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

It does have a lot of steps going up the front. We did not realize there was parking in the back and maybe a few extra towels and bathroom toilet paper would’ve been nice but they did get it for us as soon as we asked.

We had fun on a quick family getaway. Our kids (4 years and 22 mos) loved the playhouse and provided toys. The house had plenty of space for them to spread out and play. We enjoyed how kid-friendly it was. They had everything we needed from plastic tableware to books, toys, pack n play, diaper pail, and a high chair. We also enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings, comfortable beds and individual bedrooms for each of us. This house would be great for a small group as well. It’s warm and comfortable.

Melanie is a great host. Easy to communicate and always ready to help. She is awesome! The place is great for short and long term stays. It comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is good, easy access to main roads. Stores, markets and restaurants are near by. Neighborhood is safe, no concerns or issues. Assigned parking spot, washer/dryer, 2 floor unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and a patio to chill makes this place great. I enjoyed staying here and recommend to anyone looking for a place in KC.

The location is wonderful. You can see the Nelson Atkins museum grounds from the East-facing windows. Loved the TV in the bedroom too.

Ashley was a great host—very responsive with clear instructions for check-in and parking. The place was clean, quiet, and stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks. Great location, close to restaurants, bars, music venues, and coffee shops. The building felt safe and the neighbors were friendly. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Lawrence, KS!

Jake’s place is an absolute gem- we fell in love with the exposed brick, plants, and in-floor lighting. The shower was AMAZING- huge, hot, deluge of water and steam. The kitchen was well-appointed with all the essentials, plus some Michelob Lights. We were impressed with the architecture of the historic building, and Jake said he had restored the interior himself- pulling horse-hair plaster off the walls! Also notable- I guess this is KC hospitality at its finest- Jake told us to leave the dishes, linens, etc, as they were- that he would take care of all of it. It was really nice to receive that level of service, which is unusual for my Airbnb experiences.

This is great place to stay for KU parents!! Campus is super close and everything is within a 5 minute drive or a short walk. Would definitely stay again!

The place was very close to KU, right off Bob Billings. The place couldn’t have been cuter. Victoria paid attention to the small details, from the candy scattered around, to the cute sticker collection, to the pristine bathroom, and the full length mirror in the bedroom. The decor was very thoughtful and cozy. Victoria was even kind enough to check in daily to see how the stay was going and made sure to tell me to have a beautiful day!

We’re so lucky to have a landlord who makes a rented house feel like a real home. Their kindness made our time unforgettable.
