“What an extraordinary family! I spent two very pleasant days with them. The girls are very endearing and you can count on them for a reading break or board games ... Very rewarding conversations with Frédéric and Sandrine, who will make you travel, for sure! In short, the house of happiness! Can't wait to find an excuse to stop there again ”

“Patrick being away, his son welcomed me. He was very friendly and assured that I lacked nothing. In addition, Patrick remained available. The accommodation is very good, clean and quiet. It is located 10 minutes walk from the port of Tinduff and 10 minutes by car from the village. I had a good stay in this beautiful corner of the country. Thank you!”

“We chose to stay here to experience a more memorable and 'charming' week in Finistere. The cottage is certainly quaint with it's stone walls, waterwheel outside the kitchen window, wonderful deep fireplace and wood stove with plenty of firewood [very appreciated on a few chilly, rainy days], mix of antique and modern amenities, and quirky layout. Romantic touches all about with candles, roses etc. There are electric space heaters in the bedrooms and bathroom. The presence of a mix of quite tame farm animals was enjoyable++ - we had a soft spot for the goat we called 'Billie', and sitting out by the pretty pond we could enjoy their meanderings. As others have expressed, the plentiful breakfast basket placed at our time of choosing on the outside patio table of fresh croissants, eggs, baguette, variety of jams, and a different surprise each morning such as yogurts, pastries, crepes with caramel sauce - very delicious! Gilles also provided a large homemade cider to enjoy. The kitchenette is compact but cupboards and fridge contained all the basics, including milk, butter, oils, condiments, teas and coffee, spices, etc. as well as full array of cooking utensils, crockery, fine china and glasses. The oven is a roomy countertop model; full gas cooktop, micro and washer also in the kitchen. A surprise was the toilet room - consists of an ecological 'dry' toilet plus urinal, but tastefully done. The XXL shower lived up to it's description - good pressure and plenty of hot water, towels and very well lit vanity mirror and modern sink. Both are located on main level near the back door, up a few steps. Master bedroom beautifully decorated and very comfortable, including bathrobes and slippers, up an open stairway. Took getting used to seeing ourselves in the overlooking mirror! Second bedroom also on this level, actually consists of a db size upper bunk over a desk area. Gilles met us on arrival, demo'd how everything worked and was always available/attentive to answer questions, ensure all was well, despite our limited French. Definitely need a car, but the town has all the big chain supermarkets within 10 min drive and Brest only 20 min drive away. Very good location from which to visit the historical and sea coast sights of the region. Thank you Gilles and highly recommend your 'moulin de charme'!”
