Cheia - traditional old village in Transylvania

Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Râmeț Gorges (Cheile Râmețului) and three other scenic gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains, and wild landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be reached on foot via a marked trail or by 4x4 in dry weather, with proper tires. We can also arrange transport by car from Brădeşti to our location.

You can discover the scenic places of the Apuseni Mountains with electric bikes or on foot The location is on the Transalpina de Apuseni route, in a quite isolated area, the silence being a characteristic that defines us, and for the hiking lovers, we have some wonderful trails. Unwind in this unique and tranquil home.

With a 4 person accommodation capacity, the cottage has an open-space living room equipped with an sofa/corner extendable ground floor and a queen size bed upstairs ; a bathroom with shower ; kitchenette equipped with stove/ gas, cutlery and dishes. The cottage also has a courtyard with outdoor fire area, barbecue and parking. The area has mobile phone signal in any network.

The Wood Cabins are located in a quiet and magnificent place right in the heart of Transylvania, at aprox. 2 km from the village of Colțești, Alba County. Placed on the right side of the Siloș River, the Natural Reservation ”Cheile Siloșului” is just few hundreds of meters away, having a spectacular view over the ruins of Trascăului Fortress and the sleeping gigant of Piatra Secuiului.
