It has a large car park and a terrace for you to sit and enjoy the view. Keswick is twenty minutes away and Windermere forty minutes.

Farrier's house is a renovated barn conversion that was previously a farm shop. The house is located in the village of Stainton which is located 5 mins from the edge of the Lake District. It is only 5 minutes from Penrith, 10 minutes from Ullswater and 20 minutes from Keswick. Dogs are more than welcome! The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.
