We had a wonderful stay at Ricardo’s well-thought-out and intelligently designed cottage. It’s very easy to get around Ponta Delgada, and parking on the street was very convenient. The place felt very private and romantic, with everything you need, including plenty of amenities in the kitchen. The expansive garden with the pond and the sound of frogs at night made it even more relaxing. It’s perfect for a short stay or an extended getaway. We can fully recommend it and would love to come back again. Thank you, Ricardo, for a lovely stay!

This was one of the loveliest places we have stayed on. The peace of the location with stunning views of the mountains and only the sound of the birds to disturb the peace. It is an animal lovers haven with Joanne's three friendly dogs coming on walks with us and welcoming us home in the evening. While the road is rough we managed fine with a cheap Fiat Panda hire car, just watch out for Google maps taken you on impossible roads. We took the train to Lisbon (an accessible station only 25 minutes drive away). We had a day at stunning beach but most of all we enjoyed relaxing at this beautiful place. Joanne was one of the best and most helpful hosts in every way. We hope to be back! Ruth and Dave

Enchanting small "garden house apartment" with its own seating in the garden and barbecue use. Lovingly furnished - small but nice! For us, a quiet feel-good place just outside the center of the city. We were allowed to store our bikes in the shed. Communication was great, thank you dear Celia! Will come again any time!

The place is absolutely beautiful! Very peaceful, true serenity in the landscape, and a perfect place to rest with a book. Just perfect. You can feel that the place was designed with taste and architectural passion. Luísa was a very friendly host, gave us delicious breakfast and coffee, made us feel right at home.

Celia is the definition of kindness. Very happy to have met her.

We had a beautiful stay! The apartment is really clean and has everything you need. The garden is super pretty and you can even eat the fruits from the trees. The hosts are really nice and helpful :-) All was perfect, we would totally recommend staying here!

Carol’s home is beautiful and I would highly recommend staying there. It has the most amazing view and garden. Everything you want to do is within walking distance of the Airbnb. Carole is helpful and very attentive. We had a great stay! Rick and Birgit

A nice place to stay to relax. Near a small village by the river, with fresh oranges from the garden! :) Pedro is making an effort to ensure that you enjoy your stay, offers your help and you can always reach out if you need anything. We felt very comfortable here, our cat too, she found many cat lovers here! The internet and mattress are very good! Cheers!

It was just wonderful - the place was small but totally sufficient for one night - very lovingly furnished - the meals were MEGA!!! Highly recommended.

I had a short layover and the place was great - close to airport, clean comfortable bed, and hosts are very friendly.

A very quiet and laid-back stay. The room is very comfortable and the hostess has received us in a friendly way, always attentive to our well-being. the Area is very nice to do activities and enjoy nature.

The appartement is very comfy and the view is amazing! Petter has been a great host, responsive and very accommodating when I had questions. I’d come back!

The place was absolutely amazing, starting with the view near the house, bathing in the pool with all those hills around, especially at the sunset, the morning view, the small river just next to the house and ending with Katarina and Stephan, who were absolutely homey and helpful. The only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and didn’t have time to know them better. Because their vibe really touches the place. Also, the apartament was very cosy and had all the things you could need, even if you are traveling with a baby and a dog. Oh, the dogs! The best hosts there, Pepe and Ziggy were the entertainment for our entire family. Highly recommended them all!

A specious well lit apartment in a central area of Ponta Delgada. Very comfortable beds, one double and one single, both in the same room, with an en-suite good sized bathroom. Powerful walk-in shower with constant hot water and clean towels. Fully equipped kitchen although we didn’t cook on the premises. Close to several very good restaurants and with a mini market a few doors away for provisions. Street parking is not free but very reasonable rates and we always managed to find parking within a few metres of the apartment. The street is very narrow though, like most streets in the town, so requires good parking skills and is easier with smaller cars. Didn’t meet the owner but Maria was very helpful with local suggestions and with airport transfers, tour bookings etc. Would highly recommend staying here.

Ana and Joanna’s place was lovely. It matched the photos exactly. The interior and exterior of the apartment is first class. The gardens are well designed and maintained. The location is rural but very close to some well stocked local shops. We were attending a wedding in the palace which was walking distance from the apartment. The girls were very friendly and helpful at all times.

A quaint little appt about six minutes walk away from the main marina area. The appt was very clean and also very well equipped with everything you would need if you chose to cook (hob only). Washing machine also available. Bathroom also well equipped with great shower. Would certainly book again.

This is the best place we have ever stayed! Clean, peaceful and beautiful surrounding. Woke up with beautiful sunrise and fresh mountain air. Breakfast is fantastic. We wake up every morning looking forward to the breakfast! Super friendly hosts, Marco and Julie. It’s truly a refreshing experience!

Tom was always easily and reliably reachable. He offered us a very charming and renovated accommodation in a historically interesting loaded house where he lives himself in the summer. There are several accommodations on the property, differently equipped, there are also listings with a kitchen). The premises were very clean and well prepared. The air conditioning and the fridge made the stay very pleasant. In the evening you can sit in the beautiful courtyard and make excursions in the area during the day. Tom was extremely helpful, sat down with us for a beer on the evening of arrival and told us lots about the area and gave us tips. Thank you so much for your kind handling! Shopping can be done by car about 10 minutes. It is also important to be mobile for things to do in the area. I highly recommend staying at Tom's place. If we are in the area again, we will come back again.

The accommodation is one in a quiet area, a little set back from the historic center. But a 15-minute walk will allow you to get there. The pool is very nice… and the accommodation is coquettish. Manuel and Gloria are very attentive...all discreetly!

The apartment is on the 6th floor of a high-rise building with elevator. You have a great view of the city and harbor. From our point of view, the apartment is perfect for two adults. An underground parking space for the rental car is right in the house. Jose is a great host who welcomed us with wine, bread, water and many advice for a nice stay.
