Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Prince Edward County

Stayed here for several weeks while working at Fort Barfoot and enjoyed everything about this home - great location, comfy beds and cozy space! Julie was a great host, helpful and quick to respond if I ever needed anything. Enough space for the whole family, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Highly recommend

This was the most beautiful view you will ever see! The house is spacious and peaceful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were all a good size. Listen to the host's recommendations for everything. They graciously provide firewood for the firepit and so many extras that make the house a home. Everything was clean and labeled which we appreciated. If you have 4-wheel drive this is the best place to be if you love the views. We had amazing weather when we were here. We went by the river on the way out and I could see how all the other reviews loved the view and fishing etc. We didn't have time to go up into the river house but maybe next time. We have never seen so many stars in our whole life. We truly spent our time trying to connect, count the stars, and thank God for his beauty all around us. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven! We hope to return next year!

Our family of seven spent two nights here to have family Thanksgiving, The drive to the house is very beautiful with mountains in the distance. The house was very spacious and clean. The integrity of the farm house itself is very warm, with many of the original floors and woodwork. The game room in the basement is a plus. Morning walks down by the creek give you an opportunity to be connected to nature. Very special visit and most definitely would recommend this charming home to others. We had a fantastic stay at John and Ericka’s Airbnb! They were excellent hosts—super responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for our work trip—clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Everything was as described, and the attention to detail made the stay even more enjoyable. Had an amazing stay at Bella Vista! Wanted a space to rest and relax and got exactly that. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the house was super cozy. Thank you guys so much for a fantastic trip!!

This property is beautiful - well kept inside and out. All of the amenities were very convenient and kept us comfortable during our stay. The decor was very nice as well, it was a real treat getting to feel in touch with the history of the place. All in all, it was a very pleasant trip and I would not hesitate to stay here again if given the chance!

Amazing place! He was exactly what we were expecting and even more. Very clean and organized. House was perfect for the weekend and we had a great time. I don’t think I can describe just how wonderful a trip this was but I will try. David was fantastic. To start the place was absolutely spotless and had a super clean kitchen and bathroom. The linens were very clean and there were plenty of towels for the hot tub and shower. The kitchen had a great oven that was a convection oven. There was also a cast-iron skillet, which is so essential. I hate cooking on nonstick because you never know what kind of toxic stuff you’re putting into your food so having a grill, cast-iron skillet, and breakfast skillet was amazing. While we were there, there was a flash flood. While there was no flood to be seen in the house because it’s on a hill, the roadway was temporarily impossible to traverse. David brought us fresh chicken from his farm and it was fantastic. He made sure that we were safe when we did leave once the water had subsided. The hot tub was very clean. It looked brand new. The Internet was very fast and we had no problem watching TV.

I stayed in the cabin on the river, I must say it was probably the best few days I’ve ever had. Such a beautiful and peaceful set up, not to mention the farm as a whole was amazing. I will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at the Carlin cabin Airbnb and it was a delightful experience. The cabin was incredibly clean and had a charming, rustic feel with all the beautiful wood accents. It truly felt like a cozy retreat. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious cinnamon rolls they provided; they were a perfect addition to my mornings. Overall, I highly recommend the Carlin cabin for anyone looking for a cute and comfortable getaway!

Clean and modern take on a secluded river front cabin. Easy access to the river and fantastic views. Friendly hosts and a relaxing stay.

Was a great way to be out doors but not in a tent! The creek was our favorite. No need to go anywhere our whole stay. Wonderfully dark and quiet at night . A great get away

We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting to unplug and enjoy nature. Lot's to do at the site with walking trails, disc golf and a fire pit.

I can't say enough good things about the The Empty Nest Cottage! The house itself is gorgeous! If you want to get away this is the place to get away too. I couldn't quite pick a favorite room, maybe the living room with beautiful arching ceilings but then there was the master with its own sitting room connected, or could it be the basement with lots to do for adults and kiddos including the two and one game ping pong/pool table. Don't get me started on the outside! From the pool, to the jacuzzi, and just nature surrounding I can't decide! But best of all the hospitality from Shawna Lynn and James were beyond measure. We enjoyed ourselves so much we asked for another day! Thanks again for such an amazing get away!
