Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Province of Matera

This was such a luxury. This cave house was just as described. It was the best shower, the best sleep, the best comfort I have had in my long tour of Italy. Daniella, the host, was so responsive and accomodating, making sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend this space to anyone I know. If we are fortunate enough to visit this magical city again, this is the home I would choose.

A beautiful, simple little apartment that has been lovingly decorated with lots of charm and style. The communication with Paola was always good and friendly. The location, in a quiet alley right next to the cathedral was particularly beautiful and I liked to sit on the staircase outside the front door in the evening with a wine and a few olives and enjoyed the view of the night cathedral. I was also happy to visit the cathedral square 30 meters away at night, which belongs to you almost alone, and enjoyed the view over the illuminated Sassi. I only missed a clothes rack that you could put in front of the door in the sun and some wind, because the laundry dried very slowly on the string stretched through the room. But this is just a small side aspect - the stay was absolutely wonderful and I would stay there again at any time if I had to go to Matera again. Thanks Paola!

Relaxing vacation in the middle of greenery and nature. Large apartment, equipped and clean. Priceless to eat in the large garden under the oak tree. Starting point to visit nearby cities, beautiful sea and white beach. Very helpful host. recommended structure

I loved staying at this place. The place is decorated and has incredible furniture (I love the atmosphere that all the lamps give), it denotes that the details have been taken care of. Patrizia perfectly indicated me how to get there and although you have to go down some stairs, you soon realize that there are few for the standard of Matera. The view it has is unparalleled and the ease with which you can reach the different points of the historic city makes it easy for me to get to know Matera in depth. There were a lot of things to be able to have breakfast or have a snack, which is very much appreciated. Patrizia's space contributed greatly to how much Matera enjoyed

Fantastic stay,the lady is super kind,a quiet place surrounded by nature , for those looking for peace it is the ideal place, in the morning when you wake up you only feel the chirping of birds, I would go back tomorrow,thank you for the very pleasant experience

Francesco and his family were very kind and helpful hosts. The house is in a beautiful viewpoint very close to the pollen national park to be able to make various routes in nature even during the day. We were with our dog and the huge garden of the house was perfect for her too. Tidy house, equipped with all comforts. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

Valerio made us feel his presence even though he was not physically present, giving us advice on places to visit and places to taste local delicacies. He made us find his apartment clean and equipped with every comfort, although defining it as an "apartment" is extremely reductive as it is a large house in which the memories of the adventurous life of the poet mother are preserved.

I recommend it. House located in a great location in an exclusive village with pool. The house is not very large, but it is well-kept, clean and with changes in taste. Partly stylish and part rustic. We stayed for one night, but we have a maximum rating for all the services offered. See you next time!

It's a perfect place to stay for big group. Large kitchen, dining area and living hall. Giovanni had been a great host. Prepare breakfast every morning and responsive host. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Matera & Alberobello area.

The host was very nice. For a minor issue in the bathroom, he immediately apologized and said he was waiting for a new job to be delivered. The only thing we missed when we booked was that the apartment doesn't have WiFi. As we have enough cellular data on our phone this was not a problem. We were happy with our stay

Great location for the beach and visits to neighboring towns. Comfortable and clean apartment. Owners who are available and attentive to guests' needs. Highly recommend!

I stay in Antonietta place for a month. It was amazing time. Definatelly I will come again. The village is secured by amazing person, Mario. From the first moment I felt like visiting family, with having very quiet private space for myself. It was absolutelly the best choice for longer stay.

It’s a gem, this appartment. Quiet with a fabulous roofterrace and in about 30 Minutes you are in Matera. Owners are quick responders and gave us usefull (diner)suggestions.

Nice, comfortable, very clean place to stay. It is located in the historic center, convenient to walk and visit both Gravina itself and to get around including Matera. With the car you can not reach the entrance of the accommodation but, compatible with the times of the Ztl, you can unload your luggage at about 20m. Just outside the Ztl you can easily find free parking. For those of us traveling with animals, the two balconies are appreciated.

Laura is a great host, very friendly and helpful. The place is great, as described, and I immediately felt comfortable. Everything is very clean, 2 balconies, 2 sleeping areas and a well-equipped kitchen. I highly recommend it.

a magnificent historic property fully modernized. immediate parking. perfectly centered and walkable everywhere, pharmacy, dentist, city hall and of course the Patisseries and fabulous restaurants. Fabi is a gracious and responsive host. I'll be back for certain.

Matera is a wonderful place. The flat is confortable, easy to reach, and if you travel there by car you even have a space to park for free. Very quiet. There's coffee and tea, which is always a nice welcome
