We had a magical stay at Patrizia and Gigi’s. Thanks to them we lived a very special experience in an absolute breathtaking location. The house is extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. All the amenities and outdoor spaces are really nice. The hosts were very friendly, proactive and accommodating, yet we still enjoyed a lot of privacy and quiet.

there is nothing to say except that this chalet created by Beto and his father there are all the details that make you understand the love and care for many details in every style of the house ... you wake up in the morning with the chirping and the singing of the birds.... and if you sit outside you can hear the noise of the river and the waterfalls in the vicinity not to be discounted... Mrs. Valentina prepared us the most beautiful thing to start the day a breakfast that CAPITALIZES all jams made in the house from carrot to that of taras, rabbaro, to that of blueberry... gathered by hand at high altitude... akla torta made in a house BOMB!!! I have shot many places but a genuine breakfast never made!!!

We don't have the words for this vacation – we'd love to give 100 points! The area is wild and beautiful, perfect for hiking. The house is lovingly decorated, with fenced garden and dream terrace – ideal with dog. There is nothing missing: welcome gifts, bathrobes, games, hygiene products, water filters, super comfy bed. Kamila and Davide go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable – with honest, rarely found hospitality. However, our vacation took an unexpected turn: Our dog broke loose and disappeared for 24 hours – in storms and thunderstorms. We wouldn't have found him again without Kamila and Davide. They mobilized the whole village, organized help, searched with us until late at night – and were ready the next morning. Her self-evident willingness to help and her big heart touched us deeply. We will be forever grateful. If you ever get lost, get lost here. You won't be on your own.

Enza's place is beautifully located. The views are breathtaking! The house is simple but has everything you need. There are many ways to go for a walk.

We enjoyed our week at Chalet La balma together with our dog Elvis. You can walk beautifully from the chalet. The chalet is super in order, cozy and nice and warm. We didn't meet Marco but he's a very responsive host and we were welcomed by a sweet lady from the village. Upon arrival were pampered with wine, and many local treats. What a treat. We hope to come back to this special place!

We had a wonderful time in Clelia's little cottage. Absolute tranquility, beautiful surroundings, a cozy ambiance, simple furnishings but enough of everything. The contact with Clelia was very pleasant.

fantastic location if you like it quiet and lonely. Beautiful hiking trails start directly in the village. Good shoes are important for getting there because you have to walk about 20 minutes on an idyllic forest path. The cottage is very lovingly and comfortably furnished. However, in bad weather, the electricity can be scarce, but Adolfo is very helpful . We had a wonderful, relaxing time there.

We had a great time, charming village, very nice and quiet. I recommend it to everyone. Francesca and her parents are very helpful and welcoming.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend in the cabin. The place was clean, tidy, and had everything you need for a pleasant stay.

the place is ENCHANTING; it feels like going back in time, in fact, to stop the hustle and bustle of these chaotic and difficult days for a while. The cabin is perfectly tidy with everything you need for a peaceful stay. A special thank you to Mrs. Maggiorina for her hospitality, tips and stories about the pasture.

The place is wonderful in all aspects. Fortunately, we have tire chains and are experienced with driving on small mountain roads in the winter. So, we could make the 15 minute climb/decent from/to Varzo village. We somehow assumed, and perhaps missed the communication that the cabin is not in Varzo. It is in a very peaceful and beautiful alpine area above Varzo. The Internet did not work, which was a blessing -- as the location beckoned peace and enjoyment of creation, not screens.

We have had a great time im Craveggia and will come back. We enjoyed the House 200%, we really love it.

We really enjoyed the stay at the cabin, which is rustic but equipped with everything you need and even more, very clean and more beautiful than in the photos. Luciano is a perfect host, discreet and always available. The path to reach the cabin is short and comfortable (we had no problem finding it with Luciano's very precise directions) and the small effort to bring your own things and groceries is amply rewarded by absolute tranquility, once you arrive. Returning in the evening after a walk (there are beautiful ones, without having to use the car) was like coming home. Our dog found a friend always ready to play in the splendid Oléo, in short, we really couldn't ask for more. Perfect for those looking for silence and nature, but don't want to be overly isolated.

I was looking for peace and found it!!! Beautiful place, cabin equipped beyond expectations; groceries for bread, cold cuts and other needs just below, restaurant always close to family management very good and managed by courteous and helpful people. Owner always interested and available despite not being able to meet in person 🔝🔝🔝

Il Picchio is a beautiful chalet. Comfortable beds for 7. Excellent shower. Spacious living room. Francesca is the perfect host: made great suggestions of restaurants, festivals and even a hiking guide! You have to hike Alpe Veglia! Stunning. Lake Orta is a beautiful lake and Orta San Giulio is a gem of a lakeside village. We highly recommend Il Picchio. We will be back!

Independent house in the woods, it was difficult to reach with luggage because you have to leave the car in a pitch and do about 150m uphill "dirt", of which we had been notified but we had underestimated the effort with children and trolley. The house is well cared for and full of all the necessary amenities. Very warm and clean, the experience of the stay was beautiful, we had fun and we were a 15-minute drive from Macugnaga and her ski slopes. The fireplace and also the outdoor spaces of the house are very nice for a nice barbecue. Thoughtful and tidy bathroom, clean rooms and linens! I remind everyone that it is a mountain house in the woods, with the qualities and faults of the case. Riccardo was kind and helpful and always responded to everything and right away. Recommended for groups of friends or families! "Light" or off-road matches;)

Our stay at Laura's was great. The log cabin is equipped with everything you could ever need. Laura was always available. The accommodation is very quiet (the village has approx. 45 inhabitants). We felt very comfortable. You can do a lot in the area. Gladly come again...
