Marco was a lovely host. The apartment was beautifully renovated while still retaining the charm of the old building. It was warm while being well ventilated. Beds were very comfortable and there were high quality kitchen implements. The focus on sustainability was also much appreciated. Overall a wonderful stay!

We went as a couple from Germany to Marco`s place and stayed there for five days. The communication with the host was really good, on the way we called him and already got some useful advices for the way. After we got there, Marco showed us everything in the place and explained to us the short way to an ecological farm where we got some great food. When we arrived, Marco had put some food into our fridge, so we could take a rest and refresh ourself`s for some walking in the beautiful forrest very close to the house. The surrounding and the house with its garden is very relaxing and great for hiking or sitting on the terrace, where we also cooked our food in the evenings. While we were there, Marco and his wife gave us some good advices for hiking tours. When we left, they helped us to get a good connection to Milan, since we had no car and got there by bus and train.

We stayed here for a few days before Easter, in the best weather and already warm temperatures. To find the place, all you have to do is follow the Chiara's instructions, then it's no problem. If you don't feel comfortable with the car on narrow paths, you have to expect about 400-500 m walk, but they are worth it. The apartment itself kept everything it had promised. Our highlights: - Balconies where you could hike with the sun. (One in the east, one in the west to the lake.) - Quiet location. - simple but well equipped kitchen. - Super dear landlords You get a list of shopping and restaurant recommendations. We couldn't try it all, but the one we tried was great. In Pettenasco on the main road opposite the gas station (very cheap when we were there) there is still a nice cafe/bar, which we can also recommend. The garden shop in the south is also worth a visit. We will be happy to come back :-)

We were looking for a quiet nice place between the lakes and not far from Milan: this seemed ideal and it turned out. Easy to find and very nicely and warmly received upon arrival. The house was in a cozy Christmas atmosphere and in the kitchen we could sit at a nicely covered and well-stocked table with plumcake, chocolates and for lunch we got lasagna. We all felt about it and we felt right at home. The house is dated but cozy and complete with all kitchen essentials including a dolce gusto coffee maker. Bed linen and towels are plentiful, fresh and clean. The lakes in the very nearby area, view from the kitchen window on the hills and mountains, Milan is easily accessible. In short, we really enjoyed it. For the children, there is a downstairs area with table tennis and foosball. The garden is large, well cared for and finished, our dog will really come next time.

The small village is beautiful, tidy, with stone houses, beautiful courtyards, well-kept meadows, small pebbles and thereis one that leads on foot into the woods. The house is very welcoming, bright, with a sloping roof and wooden beams like a mountain cabin, a beautiful bookstore with all kinds of books, novels, art, travel, poetry, cuisine, maps of the area. If it rains, just open the door, 4 very nice cats will come to keep you company

We had a wonderful holiday here. The village is picturesquely located in the mountains, where you can hike in many directions from the house in the plant-rich nature. Unfortunately, you need the car for the nearest villages on the lake – also e.g. to the beach in Cannero or for shopping. Cycling is almost not possible From the (cool) balcony you look directly at the lake. The kitchen is😊 also well equipped; however, we have brought a few things (e.g. cutting boards) ourselves. Elena is a warm host, who even invited us to her home once and with whom you can easily discuss everything. (We have always communicated in Italian.😉) Also the neighbors are great and very helpful; they gave us vegetables from their garden... It is advisable to pack Ohropax and something against Schnaken(stiche), which are extremely active around the lake in summer... The sliding doors are very clairaudient and partly squeak. 😉 Otherwise, we loved it. The brochures and the like on site are also helpful for excursions and the like in the region.

We spent some great days at Lake Maggiore at Zuzanna and Claudio's place. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, the house and the garden are very lovingly and extremely tastefully furnished. Zuzana provided us with many tips. The location is great, the lake is close, there are many restaurants nearby. However, you should have a car available.

Marisa's charming place is in a tranquil setting, with views across the valley. It was perfectly suited to our family of four - ample space, comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and even toys to entertain the kids. We were especially appreciative of these comforts when our stay coincided with a few days of rain - especially the radiators, warm bedding and hot showers. Our kids were particularly enthusiastic about visiting the donkeys and sheep on the property, and I loved waking to the most fantastic morning bird chorus - or perhaps that was just the morning after the rain.. We also loved the dark evenings away from street lights, a chance to see the stars, and just the twinkling of some distant homes on the hills. Our thanks to Marisa for being a kind and caring host. We had such a wonderful stay.
