Great place to stay, very well located

Carlos place is a traditional old Italian house with all amenities functioning properly. Added to that is how the rooms are adorned with beautiful paintings such that it feels like you are in a gallery. One of the rooms open up to the lake such that you can hear the water waves in the morning and the view is to die for. I love everything about the house and Carlos is a fantastic host. The house is just 10 minutes walk to the city center. Not of caution: there might be an added heating fee if you arrive when the government has turned off heating.

I had a wonderful 9 day stay at this little apartment that’s perfectly located in the heart of Orta San Giulio with a stunning view of the island and lake. The apartment had everything I needed for my stay including a washing machine and a good selection of novels (in English!) - I read 2 while I was there 🙂. Being so central there’s lots of places to eat just downstairs in the piazza and within a few minutes walk. I was able to get a free car park in the white-lined spaces up the hill - as Philippa suggested, there’s usually some available after 6 pm. If pulling wheeled luggage to/from apartment from the car park area, best to use Via Gabriele Galli as there’s a solid path in the centre (no cobblestones!) and no steps.

Roberto's apartment was the absolute perfect choice for our weekend getaway on Lago D'Orta. The apartment is immaculate, it was equipped with everything one could need, and the garden was perfect for us to relax with our dogs. It is located in a wonderful area on the lake, where you can find peace and tranquility while having easy access to the lively atmosphere of Omegna. I would highly recommend Roberto's apartment to anyone looking to stay on Lago D'Orta.

The only thing that left us thinking there could be a better solution was the doors of the shower… we couldn’t think everyone can fit between them.

Anna and Marco were lovely hosts. Super responsive, especially because we needed a last minute booking, coming from Torino. They also upgraded us the room, for a bigger room, since it was empty, and they charged us the same rate as the room we selected. we had a super lovely two days, slept like kings! the beds were comfortable and everything was so easy and convenient. The view was amazing and it was such a treat to wake up in the morning to see the lake! in the evening, with glass of wine on the balcony, and the lake in the evening light. it is such a great joy to be able to relax and enjoy such an amazing location. Marco and Anna have a restaurant downstairs where they granted us 10% discount, and we were delighted with their local artisanal delicatessen products and wonderful service, and very knowledgeable staff So muh so, that we want to go back for my husband's birthday, next year. Laura was a wonderful host. We felt welcome from the start. The apartment was clean and modern. Lovely balconies in three different directions. Lago di Orta is a beautiful place and I would recommend anyone to stay at Lauras place.

We stayed at Casa Aurora for 5 days. With 4 people (all adults - worked out better than expected at the beginning). Location is bombastic we could walk to everything and eat at a different restaurant every evening. The terrace is also very cozy and optimal to end the evening.

Perfect location, beautiful and clean apartment. The small balcony and especially the small, enclosed single garage for our motorcycles were again extra plus points. The Communication with Edoardo was very good and completely hassle-free. We will be happy to come back.

This house is a beautiful place. Incredible location with direct access to what feels like a private beach on a beautiful river. The house is very special with lots of history. The hosts are amazing and are happy to share their knowledge of the area. The Sermenza valley is a great place to explore. We enjoyed it and are planning on coming back.

Lara’s home is a cozy gem in a beautiful setting. She made sure it was well prepared including having the heat on in advance and all amenities ready for use. All things were there to make it comfortable including a great kitchen set up for cooking, quality dishes, etc. She was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. We highly recommend staying here.

I left with my family and we were delighted to find a place that can accommodate 6 people without us feeling cramped. The house was superb, clean with a small garden and in a very quiet area, but not far from other activities nearby. We were hosted very well and Ingrid was able to be flexible about the time of our arrival, which we really appreciated. Everything was available, even more. Indeed, we also had free bathing items and small aperitifs for our arrival. I highly recommend it!

Paola is a super host, she makes you feel right at home, including our 2yr old border collie. The lake view at the flat is the highlight of our stay. The little personal touch provided by Paola is the added bonus on top. The garden and the surrounding hikes and lake is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended

We could spend some wonderful days on the isola superiore, Ambra was a perfect host, she was picking us up directly at the dock and guiding us to the house. She took the time showing and explaining everything important in the house and gave some nice tips what to do during our stay. The house, the terrace and the view are great. Grazie Ambra!

Spectacular weekend! Monica was an excellent host! The apartment is in a great location that allows you to access the port in a few minutes to take ferry trips. Convenient to also access public establishments such as bars, restaurants, supermarkets. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

We stayed as a couple with our 3 year old daughter, the apartment is very nice and functional, in a house with a magnificent view of Lake Major! The location is ideal for visiting the villages and beautiful surrounding landscapes, including Stresa, Mottarone or Lake Orta. Lodana was also a very kind and welcoming host. It is possible to park your car in front of the house (you just have to pay attention to the narrow path:-)). Thank you again so much for hosting Lodana, we'll be back with pleasure. Benjamin

We enjoyed staying at the apartment. We found everything as it was seen in the photos and stated in the description. The location in the picturesque old town is great. Numerous shops, restaurants, cafés and bakeries can be found in the immediate vicinity. In the evening, the typical sounds can still be heard with the windows open, which, however, did not disturb us and our children. The car can be parked on public parking spaces as described. We always found a parking spot (August). The equipment of the apartment is completely sufficient and not overloaded. If you travel with children who need darkened rooms, you should bring something to darken yourself. There are "only" the typical shutters on the windows. The modern fans integrated into the ceiling lamp were super helpful, the apartment was never too warm. Ilaria and her husband are super friendly and helpful and communication was easy.
