Surrounded by forested hills and fields, this is a perfect location for anyone who loves nature and tranquility. The area is famous for its bike paths, numerous hiking trails, birdwatching and historical landmarks. We also live on the property, in the small detached house. The surrounding area is shared with our family as we attend our vegetable gardens and care for the animals. Parties and events with loud music and excessive alcohol are strictly forbidden, as it is not suited or acceptable.

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood-burning stove for the winter. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. We welcome you to our fully equipped 50 m2 contemporary yurt located at Hameau de Lias 65100 Berbérust-Lias. It consists of a kitchen, bathroom (with dry toilet), 2 bedrooms and a terrace, which will allow you to enjoy stunning views of the mountains. Hikes are possible around the yurt... You can enjoy a visit to the "Fibre de Vie" farm offering Mohair and Alpaca wool products. Ski resorts 35 to 45 minutes away.
