The lake has 250 kilometers of shoreline.

The house is located 40 metres from the sea and offers a fantastic view of Vestfold. Here, you can enjoy a hot tub, barbecuing on the gas grill, a covered seating area, and some fantastic sunsets. It's about a 2-minute walk down to the beach, where you can swim, dive and jump off the jetty, or enjoy a long, beautiful sandbank that the kids love. The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.
