“Both my wife and I love to travel, and we have stayed in airbnb plenty of times, and we can be sure that Nicolas place is by far one of the very best places we have stayed. Not only because the place is perfect! The studio is really clean and comfortable, and has all the necessary for stay as long as you need, with one room and a bed-sofa, kitchen completely equiped. The location is perfect to visit Slovenia, at 10 minutes from Liubliana with parking at the same place yo can use Nicolas home as operations base to visit the country. But the very best was Nicolas, he is one of the best hosts we have known, he is really nice, kind and friendly, he was worried about making us feel comftable st his place, the nigth we arrived he gave us some pasta to cook, then he brought a coffe machine and a micro wave oven. We definitely recommend Nicolas as a host”
Newly renovated studio apartment in the heart of Ljubljana. Only a 5 min walk to main street as well as the main bus and train station. Right around the corner there is a grocery shop that works every day until 10pm. Intercontinental hotel Ljubljana is 1min away from the apartment. Welcome!
“Two things. One, the place is fantastic. Clean, comfortable bed, good channels on the TV, all the crockery, washing machine, spacious. Two, Nina is a f*ing fantastic human. I was due to fly out 18 March. On the morning on 16 March I woke to Nina's text saying there seemed to be issues with the airports. Nina called the airport multiple times throughout the day to find out about my flight. When she got through, she found out the airport was closing at midnight THAT NIGHT until 30 March. She suggested flights for me and booked me a taxi immediately. This coronavirus situation is crazy, and if it wasn't for Nina, I wouldn't be able to return to Australia three days later to be with my family. Thank you Nina, you saved me!”
A family friendly apartment with special character. While all the rooms are equipped with modern furniture and appliances, the décor has been inspired by a traditional Slovenian hand craft – lace. The apartment is away from all the hustle and bustle, located in a small peaceful village in Poljanska valley, surrounded by beautiful green hills and meadows and just 4 km from a picture-perfect mediaeval town Škofja Loka. The apartment can be ideal base for you to discover the rest of Slovenia.
“This place was truly fantastic. Great communication from Bostjan in advance and Stana was a warm and welcoming host on site. As other reviewers have said, this place is really perfect for families with young children as there are so many toys and resources that make such a difference to their holiday experience. We also loved the location as it's a perfect central base for exploring the whole country, and a great quiet escape with hills all around. We spent our mornings watching birds in the garden, our days out exploring Bled, Ljubljana, Bohinj, Postonja Caves etc, and our evenings drinking Slovenian wine on the balcony and gazing out at the hills while our wee one happily slept cuddling into the soft toys from the apartment. There are a couple of nice walks in the immediate local area, one up to a church on the hill where we met some goats and one down to the river (for the wee one to throw stones in to his heart's content). Thank you both so much”
