Holiday rentals with a patio in Raleigh County

Me and my wife stayed there recently and used it as our base camp to explore the new river gorge national park. The house was perfect for our needs as every place we wanted to go was nearby and its hard to beat the view of the river out back. I met John and he was a really nice guy and Id recommend anyone staying there to contact him for his rafting or fishing guide services. We are already planning our trip back and will stay here again

We had a great one night stay here for a local soccer tournament. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong and hot tub!

I'll start off by saying that you will not regret this beautiful stay, Pete is an outstanding and an amazing person! He made us feel at home, went above and beyond to show us a fabulous time. If you are a nature lover and love the outdoors this place will meet all your expectations and more. We will definitely come back and stay here. This was my first time staying in an RV and it couldn't be more simple and easy to handle. not too small and not too big, we cooked there a few meals and ate on the river, waking up to the peaceful river sounds and birds chirping is priceless. book it and you will have an amazing stay. thanks Pete and Whitney for your lovely hospitality :)

This is the second property we've stayed at hosted by Elizabeth. Elizabeth is an excellent host- she is very responsive to all queries and requests and her homes are immaculately clean and welcoming when you arrive. The Oak Hill property is located in a residential neighborhood. We found it to be very quiet and had no issues with dogs barking (as other reviewers mentioned). The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner. The beds are firm and comfortable, as are the linens. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful home in a beautiful location. All of the extra touches did not go unnoticed. The dogs loved the treats and the kids loved the homemade cookies. We look forward to coming back the next time we are in WV!

Had a wonderful stay. Jason was great to work with right off the bat from making sure we had plenty of parking room, to making sure we had everything we needed our whole stay. Beds were a little stiff but absolutely loved the house and location! The town was wonderful and the locals were very welcoming.

The cabin on the river was everything I hoped it would be. It is so beautiful and peaceful there. I loved sitting out on the porch and watching the trains go by.

The cabin is beautiful surrounded by nature. It is as described with the view of the river and close to the Fall and the bridge. The nature around the area is so pristine and calming. The cabin is beautiful with amenities listed. The only disadvantage is not providing internet. Since the cellphone coverage was spotty and the internet on your mobile doesn't work, you might be stuck. However, we found a very cozy coffee shop in Hinton few miles away that had great coffee, nice place to sit and enjoy internet. Overall, great experience in Hinton, West Virginia in Alex's cabin.

We had a great time during our stay. The beds were comfy, the cabin was clean and very nice, and the hot tub was a fantastic addition! Definitely was able to rest and relax and everyone slept so well! I will for sure seek this place out for our next stay in the area.
