Nice outdoor area. Games and seating. Local store 100 m. Ski out and ski in, illuminated cross-country ski trail, which is lit from dusk until 10 pm every day and about 40 km of groomed trails. Experience authentic farming culture in an original charming halling cottage. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old mill and cook on a wood stove if you want. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area there is plenty of space to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby include Nesfjellet alpine, golf, Nystølkroken café, Langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few kilometres by car.

Hadeland Glassverk and Kistefoss a half hour away. Some traffic noise. You choose whether you do the laundry yourself. Otherwise, the final wash costs NOK 800, or if you have pets with you, NOK 1000. For those who really want to experience the best Helgøya has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summer house built for tramway director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A nice garden leads down to a private beach by Mjøsa. Beautiful perennial bed and a separate kitchen garden to supply yourself with. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and make delicious local and organic food, with the farm's and the area's own products. There are great hiking opportunities on Helgøya, for walking, running and cycling.

Close to Hadeland Glassverk (1.7 km – a short drive or a 20–25-minute walk) Kistefoss Museum (4.9 km) Randsfjord Water Park, fjord sauna, lovely hiking and fishing spots. The single room has a double bed measuring 180 x 200 cm. The second bedroom has two pull-down beds measuring 80 × 200 cm. These can be pulled out to form double beds, which then measure 160 cm. Duvets, pillows, bedding and towels are provided on site.
