A unique and peaceful stay at a private house located next to the black sand beach with great views over Vestmannaeyjar and Eyjafjallajölkull volcano. The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, open living and dining room area. Outdoor terrace, private entrance and free parking. Fjósið-Hallgeirsey is the perfect place to stay to explore the south coast, located 23 km from Hvolsvöllur (restaurants and grocery store) and only 10 min drive from the main road (15km).

The Forgotten Farmhouse

Experience the charm of a lovingly restored 1950s farmhouse during your exploration of South Iceland. Perfect for families, friends, or a romantic retreat. The farmhouse features a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a cozy bedroom with a comfortable double bed, and a living room (= second bedroom) with a double bed. For families with infants, a crib can be provided upon request (babies aged 0-2). An extra bed for families with three children is also available upon request.

A hot tub and BBQ on the veranda. Parking in front of the house. The next village is Hvolsvöllur, where you'll find essential services.

It is very well situated for travels to Vik, Vestmann islands, The glacier Lagoon, Skogarfoss and many other poupular destinations in the south of Iceland. The cottage is recently renovated, lots of space and an outdoor patio. There are horses and foals at a nearby field, you are welcome to say hello to them.
