Within walking distance, you can reach Kalmar County's highest point with fantastic views. You live in a village cottage from the past, which has been completely in 2022. The accommodation is ideal for overnight stays, for two adults. Upstairs, the single beds are 90 x 200 cm. Extra sleeping space can be had on the sofa bed. In Mariannelund there is also Filmbyn Småland, Karamellkokeriet, Ica, nice natural areas with lakes, etc. The house consists of a large combined kitchen and living room, two bedrooms (a total of 7 beds + a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room), a toilet/shower and laundry room. Welcome to beautiful Västervik! The house of 30 sqm contains a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom with shower, Bedroom with 2 beds and sleeping loft for 2 people. Pillows, duvets, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Guests make their own beds. Of course, there is a TV, Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth speaker. Bicycles are available to borrow; it's only about 10 minutes to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the town centre. Note: The house has been expanded in 2025 to get to a proper bedroom.

Live like in Katthult in a cozy older house in the central town of Mariannelund, 20 km from Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is partially renovated with many retained older details. Carpenter's shed, outhouse (not in use) and woodshed are in the yard. Nice public swimming area is at Mariannelund's campsite.
