Hesed house is beautiful. It has amazing views from the bedrooms and from the lounge area. It was so peaceful. Just what we were looking for. I only wish we stayed longer. The food in the restaurant was very delicious, especially the Khasi dishes. The staff were very polite and helpful. they were so hard working. We cannot wait to go back with more time. My favourite time was having coffee in the patio area outside the lounge, over looking the hills and listening to the gentle sound of the water flowing in the stream flowing past hesed house. Absolutely amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This place exceeded all expectations and is even better than it looks in the pictures! The property is new, with clean linens and a spotless restroom that added to the comfort. Its location is perfect, offering easy access to popular spots, including the starting point for the Double Decker Bridge trek. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Banshem, the caretaker, was proactive, warm, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Iba, the cook, prepared delicious Indian meals on short notice, making our experience even more delightful. Highly recommended!

The host, Regain, was amazing! He was super friendly, quite accommodating and made our stay comfortable. The breakfast offered was simple but quite tasty. The rooms were slightly smaller than we expected, but were super clean. The bathrooms were big and quite decent. The best part about the stay - the beautiful surroundings. There's a canyon at a walking distance and the views from there are stunning! Overall, loved the place. Just didn't feel it was worth the price, but we had a great experience nevertheless.

This place is beautiful, situated in peaceful and serene surroundings, away from the hustle bustle of a city. There is small stream that runs nearby, so it is amazing to sit outside and have a hot beverage while enjoying the view. The rooms are very clean and very tastefully done. The lounge area and the mini library are cozy spaces. The food in the valley view restaurant was very delicious and homely. The staff was always ready to help and very courteous and very hardworking. We loved our stay here. Hopefully we will visit again.
