The firehouse has great atmosphere and tranquility descends here. There is a living room with dining area and cooking opportunity on the 1st floor. Here is also the heart of the room with an old gravel brick walled in natural stone. On the 2nd floor there is a collection of old equipment that has belonged to the farm, bathroom with toilet/washbasin and bedroom with 3 beds ( 120 cm, 120 cm and 80 cm). Access to shower in other nearby house. The firehouse has electric heating, but no water running water inside. Cold and hot water can be collected in the basement of the house next door.

The house is located in Måndalen, 20 min drive from Åndalsnes (direction Ålesund). At Åndalsnes you will find Romsdalseggen, Romsdalsgondolen, Via Ferrata and Norsk Tindesenter center, as well as cafes and restaurants. 30 min drive to Trollstigen. 1 h and 20 min to Ålesund. The house has 6 large bedrooms, Wonderland beds, and plenty of space for 11 people. Living room and fine living room with fireplace. Large kitchen in the style of the 60s. 2 showers and 2 toilets. Wash in all bedrooms. Laundry room/washing machine. Gas grill, outdoor furniture and wood-fired stamp.

The tiny house has a small and functionally equipped apartment kitchen (fridge and two hot plates) that you can make yourself simple dishes on.

Take a break and relax in beautiful cultural landscape at Øverbøsetra. The cabin has no electricity, it has running cold water and there is a toilet in the barn building next door. If you want to go mountain hikes, there is a short way to DNT's grid, Romsdalsstien, and there are many nice peaks the area. By car you can experience Trollstigen, Atlanterhavsvegen and beautiful Mardalsfossen, among other things. Previously, there were dairy cows on the farm, but now there are young animals grazing peacefully in the green fields.
