We stay in the general area at least twice a year for fishing trips to a nearby lake and this by far has been one of the best experiences we have had. Dezerae was very responsive from start to finish; she was able to provide for us having two vehicles and a boat that would need charging as well as checking in with us during the stay to ensure we did not need anything. Check in was a breeze, and the accommodations were just as listed and described. Again, one of the best experiences we have had, and hope to book with her for our next trip to the area.

Cute place. Felt like a hunting cabin in the woods. Great host. Super responsive and friendly. Just the right size without the unnecessary fluff. Only downside is the very busy train tracks going through town. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved the details like: Slippers for us to walk around in, filtered water in the fridge, HOT water :), nice clean bedrooms with luggage racks, noise machine and oil diffuser, quiet neighborhood, plenty of towels and blankets available, some exercise equipment set out for use, and smart tvs to enjoy our favorite programs! We really appreciated it all!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be near Mokan Dragway or just out in the country away from it all. The cabin is even cuter then the pictures and it has absolutely everything you will need. The hosts were very quick to respond to inquiries and so courteous. This is a very unique spot and we will definitely be back!

Emily was an amazing host! I felt like I was still at home. Very nice house. Comfortable beds, hot shower with good water pressure. Quite neighborhood for being a college town. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. I would also stay here again.

Our family loved our stay at this Airbnb! The bed was comfortable and the cottage was very clean and updated. Was nice to have prairie around it but also be close to get into town. We travelled with two small children so really appreciated Jennifer letting us check in early and also providing a pack and play. Would definitely stay again!

The place was beautiful and so relaxing! We had a great time and Dee even gave up a loaf of bread, it was so yummy! This was the first Airbnb I stayed at that literally had everything we needed and more! She was extremely friendly and responsive. Blue door cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. If you’re looking to unplug, Blue Door is perfect. The location feels remote enough to relax but is close enough to town that it isn’t a hassle. We enjoyed the dock on the pond, fire pit, and walking trails around the property. We had a small hiccup with check in but Elizabeth quickly resolved and went above and beyond to rectify. This alone makes me want to come back. I would highly recommend Blue Door Cabin!
