Lovely apartment close to city center. Large heated outdoor & indoor pools across the street and short walks to public/tour bus stops. Botanic garden and petting zoo close by and bakery, supermarket, hot dog stand, ice cream etc within 2-10 min walk. Usually, I only rent out 1 room in my apartment but for a period in Dec 2025-Jan 2026 I will be away so guests will have it all to themselves. This beautiful, bright 65 m² apartment is located centrally in Laugardalur park with a south-facing terrace overlooking a garden. Fully equipped, the apartment has one bedroom, shower and bathtub, dishwasher, fridge+freezer, access to washing machine/dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi and a 55” Smart TV. It takes 2 min to walk to the iconic local pool. Bus stops are minutes away, perfect for catching a ride downtown: Harpa, Sun Voyager and the city center are close by. Parking in the street is free.

Quiet neighbourhood, well located when travelling out of the city. For example 30 minute drive to Þingvellir national park and 40 minute drive to Hvammsvík natural hot springs to the west and 30 minute drive to Hveragerði to the east. Downtown Reykjavik is about 10km (15 min drive) as well as bus 18 runs downtown.

If you're visiting Reykjavík and just want a place to rest we are 2 block from Hallgrimskirkja church (the biggest church in Iceland) and close to all the turistic places in Reykjavík and the bus stationBSÍ .The neighborhood is calm and safe 😊 You can use the shower/toilet of my place at night or use the membership card that I have for the pools that are one block away open from 6:30 am to 10:30pm. A spacious, cozy apartment on the second floor with elevator. Walking distance to old harbor and city center with many restaurants, shops and supermarkets. A private balcony and a nice garden in the middle of the apartment building. The apartment is next to the ocean with a beautiful view of the Snæfellsnes glacier. You can experience spectacular fireworks on New Year’s Eve and Northern Lights at Grótta in the darkest period of the year.
