Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Reynolds County

Another great stay -- our second -- in the Red Roof Cabin. Very comfortable (including the bed), clean, updated decor and well-equipped. Conveniently close to Piedmont Park and Clearwater Lake. Highly recommend. (We'll be back!) Note that we didn't have a cell phone signal in the house or anywhere in the neighborhood, but the wifi is good.

We had a great stay! Our favorite part was the outdoor pavilion and fireplace.

Stayed at Jeff's place for the third time and it was an awesome time once again. My group and I love driving offroad vehicles down to the river, shooting at the range, enjoying the view around a fire, and countless other activities. It is always a great time down at the cabin!

Thinking of going floating and need a place to stay?! STAY HERE!!! This was our 2nd year and we will stay a 3rd time next year. It's perfect for our large (14) group! Easy check in. Beds are comfy. We like how toilets are separate from showers. Good places to eat right next door. Also, Franklin Floats picks us up and drops us off at the doorstep.

We stayed because we wanted to go to Current River. The drive was further than we expected with winding roads. We were able to check in early, however; there was some miscommunication with the cleaning crew. We dropped off our items and went to the river. The cleaning crew came back and cleaned while we were gone. After a day on the river, we returned to the cabin, and my husband got stung by a hornet. I notified Cliff of the problem which he said would be resolved. (This kept us in for the evening for fear of being stung again.) The next day when we went to leave and were loading the car the hornets started swarming again. I understand it is a cabin in the woods, but these were our experiences.

Loved our little getaway to the woods, what a great place to disconnect from the busyness of life in a city.

We had a wonderful time. Great little place to stay although we do wish they were more descriptive about there being no WiFi as well as having three dogs on the property. We also would’ve liked to know that the shower house is located across the property. Other than that would recommend!

We've been coming to the Black River for years but this was our first time staying at this home. It's beautiful, super clean, comfortable furniture and beds, best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental, amenities for all types of weather, plenty of firewood (and delivered more when we were low), pick up by Black River Outfitters at Horseshoe Ranch for our perfect float day, close to river access for lazy river days. and a very short drive (or close enough to walk, if you felt like it) to Lenny's, Jack's, and a couple restaurants. We loved our stay and hope it's available next year when we come down!
