Great home with an amazing host

We spent a few days of our vacation in a wonderful house, enjoying the silence, the aroma of the pine forest around and the proximity of the beautiful beach. You can only recommend this place, everything was very convenient, clean and cozy, as if you were in your cottage. The only thing was that there were a lot of mosquitoes in the evenings on the street (there were no problems in the house, they saved comfortable nets), so our advice is to protect yourself from mosquito repellent. Thank you ❤️ for a wonderful stay.

It was a great pleasure for my family and me to spend our Christmas holidays at Villa Gunda! The house is perfect for a large family or group, with 5 bathrooms (one in each bedroom, plus one on the ground floor) and plenty of space to cook, dine, and relax. The location is ideal, too – we didn't have a car, but it's only a 25-minute train ride to the center of Riga. We loved being in a peaceful spot near the sea while still having easy access to the city. A special thanks to Ligita, who was an exceptional host. She was always quick to respond, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Our bus from Riga was late in the evening, and she kindly allowed us to stay a bit longer, ensuring we could check out just before our departure. That gesture was much appreciated! In summary, I highly recommend Villa Gunda to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay!

Great location in the middle of the old town. Very nice apartments. We booked all 3 apartments so it provided everyone without own privacy. The apartments are all the same high standard with their own bathroom and kitchenette. As described there are only stairs so be prepared. The kitchenettes are small and basic but the shops are at your front door. It’s a busy area especially in December with the Christmas markets at your door step. I highly recommend staying here.

The stay was perfect for what I was looking for - calm, peaceful, private and close to nature yet accessible with car from the city. The place is very well equipped and just perfect. Definitely a great find! 🌞

We had a great time at Liene's place which is very responsive and welcoming. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped, true to photos and description. Close to the center, you can easily walk there and enjoy beautiful walks in the old town. We enjoyed our stay in Latvia very much. And we will choose Liene's place again if we come back to Riga. We recommend it!

Nice place to stay, slept well, loved the bed, not too soft, not too hard, extra blanket, plaid, heater also available, no noise from the street, the place faces the side of the yard. The host also thought about a first aid kit, which is not everywhere available, there is a shop nearby called Maxima, lunch restaurant Delicio, bar, of course the possibility to cook in the house. Public transport stop right in front of the building. Lots of TV channels. Radio. Tasty coffee. I'm happy with the place, would love to come back.🙂

Very nice and cozy house with everything you need for a comfortable stay ❤️ Convenient location - between the center of Riga, Jurmala and the airport. The only small disadvantage is that after eviction, if you still have time to walk before departure, there is nowhere to leave your things.

The apartment was absolutely lovely, exactly as depicted if not even better. Cozy and homely, the layout and decoration were seamless. We spent a week, and found it perfectly livable. Furnishings, kitchen were great. And the little touches (coffee, beer etc) made a difference. Karlis & Sintija are excellent hosts - personable, helpful and quickly responsive. Will definitely stay again, and highly recommended.

Stay was great, walking distance to center (around 30mins). Amenities were basic but enough for a short stay. We loved it that there is a dedicated parking spot. Quiet area. Host very friendly and responsive. Would definitely come back.

Amazing host, everything was really clean and comfortable, had everything I needed for cooking, the flat was really warm, beautiful view from the window, there’s shops, restaurants and bars which are nearby, I really do recommend the place, thank you to the host, I will be booking this place again.

Excellent location and a really beautiful apartment, looks just like the photos. Quick walk to old town. There is a park and a tennis club right next to the building, which was a plus for me. The host was very friendly and responding quickly. Apartment has a good and quite AC unit, which was very useful as the weather was surprisingly hot in Riga during that week. Overall, excellent stay!

We were two couples staying for four nights during Easter and we really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and was exactly like described. We think it was even a bit bigger than what it looked like in the pictures. The location is great, there are tons of restaurants around and the old town is only 20 minutes walk away. The instructions for check-in were clear and everything went really smoothly. Martin was a very nice host and responded quickly. We had a little trouble with the hairdryer and he made the effort to bring us a new one during our stay. We would recommend this place 100% and would stay here again.
