Holiday rentals with a kayak in Río Grande

Simone was an amazing host and the house definitely matched her energy. Inviting, calm, and prepared to give you a good time. Everything was as promised and perhaps even a bit better — my personal favorite things about the space was the cleanliness of the inside (and outside, even through the elements), the charm of the home and how it truly felt like staying at a relatives place, and the amenities. I’m Puerto Rican, born in Florida and this was mine and my families first time visiting the island. We could not have imagined staying anywhere else! Proximity to things was ideal and if you’re looking for a chill place to come back to after an action packed day or somewhere to kick back and take in the beauty of the island, I would highly recommend staying here. My only regret is not requesting more PTO to stay longer!

We had a fabulous stay! The views are spectacular! There is nothing but ocean out every window. The waves and ocean are so peaceful and pretty!!! The ac is in the bedrooms only. They are icy cold and make for a great sleep on comfortable beds. The huge ceiling fan in the living room, louvered door, and wide open balcony lets the ocean breezes blow thru, making it very comfortable. The kitchen has the necessaries, and is spotless. The bathroom was spotless as well, and we were so thankful to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The shower was hot with good water pressure. The furniture was clean and comfortable. The balcony is super special. It was breezy and so beautiful! The hammock was a favorite, and there’s beach chairs and a cooler to take down. Osvaldo is a responsive host. His directions and instructions are very clear, and his photos are so helpful. It’s an old building, for sure. But his unit is amazing. Any guest will love it!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful waterfront Airbnb! The home was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed. The private pool and outdoor area were truly the highlights—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Just steps from a stunning beach, it was the ideal getaway. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience even better. We can’t wait to come back! Great for families or an adult getaway

Amazing beach front location. Lots of amenities. Initially we were disappointed with our lack of research on location and beach area but as we discovered the overcrowded “popular” beaches we came to greatly appreciate our private access and some other beaches just down the road. Really good location. Thanks Carmen for hosting us during a great week.

Place was nice and roomy. Lots of space! We had enough room for our one friends to show a few of the couples in our group how to swing dance. View in the front and back of the place were awesome, especially of the rainforest in the back! Things to know: Lots of mosquitoes, make use of the zappers provided! Air conditioner in the kitchen doesn’t do a great job of keeping that area and the dining area cool. Everywhere else, the a/c worked great! 1 bathroom has no hot water, and during our a stay, a second bathroom was also unable to get hot water. So, the only bathroom with hot water was in the master bedroom, which wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t that much of a problem except for night showering. During the day, the sun must have kept the ground so warm that the water was still lukewarm and not too cold. You may get suddenly told about scheduled landscape and other maintenance techs that you will have to leave the gate unlocked for them to get in.

My husband and I had a magical stay at Carlos apt. at Punta Bandera Beach! Walkable access to beach in a gated community that made us feel safe. The beds were comfortable and air conditioning was great. The place was Very clean and looked just like the pictures! Loved sitting out on back patio with relaxing lighting. We loved the surfboards, beach chairs and we brought our own snorkels to snorkel at the beach. (Snorkels were available however)! We did not know about rainy season in Puerto Rico, and it was very rainy when we got there but it cleared up and we got some very sunny and beautiful enjoyable days! Hiked El Yunque to the peak and La zanga trail in Farjardo. Stunning views at both hikes! The beach was so beautiful w/ bright orange sands and turquoise waters and you could walk miles along the beautiful beach. Shallow waters that you can wade in close to the access. When I wanted to swim in the waves and attempt surfing- I was able to walk about 3/4 miles down beach. Loved it!

Was a nice and quiet place to relax. Good amenities and felt safe. It is in a working class neighborhood. It so happens there was an islandwide blackout. having the Tesla battery backup and the water tank was invaluable.

First of all, thank you Vanessa very kind of you for orienting us and welcoming us with kindness and I charm very relaxing and the river was worth it. We had a super time 😉

We had two families stay at the Happy Yellow Beach House and we loved every minute! Accessing the beach was a short walk down a lovely path, the pool and hot tub were so much fun and the house was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic essentials and we had plenty of towels. It was so convenient to be able to do laundry as well. We loved the bakery and new restaurant at the end of the street and went to the Luquillo Kiosks a few times - it was a great location - easy travel from San Juan! Manny was an excellent host and took care of all our needs, provided recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Thank you for a wonderful visit and sharing your piece of PR heaven with us!
