Wonderful luxury cottage perched high on the mountain, close to everything, but with spectacular views over Akureyri and the fjord. Modern, clean and well stocked with amenities, including a hot tub and laundry. Arnor was very responsive and easy to work with, gave great suggestions for dining and activities. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Lea's Airbnb is an absolute must-stay when in the northern part of Iceland. The scenery felt like it was from a movie, the place was spotless and full of amenities that I really only had to go into town once for groceries. We ended up having to change our plans (due to Iceland's infamous unpredictable weather) and reached out to Lea to see if we could add a night to our stay. She replied within a few minutes that she would be happy to help. We loved the clear directions for driving there as well as how to fill up the hot tub! We absolutely will be coming back in the summer time.

This is a really great B&B with an awesome balcony that allows us to see the sunset, seals, different species of seabirds, wild ducks, and the farm's Icelandic horses at the same time, and the aurora at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, which is really like!The B&B host was very friendly and responded to our questions in a timely manner, super recommended to come and stay here

This is a very nice log cabin in a secluded piece of forest. There are 2 more cabins on the property, but you have more than enough private. It was nice to arrive because the lights were on the path. Inside it is cozy and warm and there is a lovely shower. The shared hot tub next to our cottage was already on and was wonderfully warm. We slept here for 2 nights and used the cabin as a base for trips to Akureyri and Árskógssandur (whale watching). Very cozy cottage in a nice location.

We loved staying in Daníels cabin! He is an incredible host, friendly and helpful and welcoming. We felt comfortable and welcome from the start and he provided us with anything we needed. The cabin itself was very warm, spacious and had everything we needed and more. There were beautiful big windows all throughout the place where we could gaze outside at the stars and northern lights. We also enjoyed the hot tub outside and the sauna, and the location was peaceful. The perfect getaway!

Stay here!!! This is a unique gem in the mountains. We even got a beautiful view of the aurora borealis spread across the sky from downtown Akureyri to the mountain behind us. This place has very good character and makes you feel cozy and right at home. Would definitely stay again!

An excellent place to stay, right in the centre with the town's free buses departing right outside and the countryside buses just across the street. The taxi office is also opposite the apartment. Very easy to travel to and from (hire car companies are a ten minute walk or free bus ride away too). We were here for a short break but would happily return to Akureyri and use this apartment again. Thanks.

Andrea was a great host. She was very attentive to any need and the location of the cabin is ideal, especially if you are looking to see auroras a little further from the city. Also the hot tub you can use it at any time which is very useful. Definitely if I go back to Akureyri I would stay again in her cabin.

This place was perfect for a couple nights stay! Great location, very walkable, in the center of town. We had a little trouble finding the place but once we did, it was very easy to check in, parking was easy and convenient. Kitchen was well stocked and the apartment was very spacious and clean.

Very nice house in a peaceful area, illuminated in the evening The kitchen was fine and the bedrooms on the same floor too, the sofa bed very comfortable Has the washing machine and a very convenient dryer, all the spices and condiments needed In addition, Margret was ready to change the check-in dates at her listing due to bad weather and our uncertainty to arrive on the right day. The only small problem is the bedroom which is in the basement, very wet Other than that we had a great time at Margret's place

We loved this house! It's in a very nice neighborhood about a 5 minute walk from restaurants, shops, the city pool (!), the big church, etc. Even the Netto grocery story is walking distance. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We made it our home base for a few days and took day trips to sights and activities in the area. We couldn't have asked for more.
