The views are stunning with panoramic views of lakeland fells and over Brotherswater. The place is pet friendly and perfect for guests who love the outdoors. Classic walks straight from the door and secure storage available for mountain bikes and canoes. After a day in the fells, toast your toes by the wood burning stove or enjoy the sunshine in the private south facing garden.

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.
