Private suite holiday rentals in River Medway

On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

We had a lovely stay here, my partner was doing a weekend course at Sussex Green Woodworking and this was a perfect place for us to stay, just 4 minute drive away. The location is peaceful and beautiful, and we enjoyed having coffee with the noise of horses and chickens nearby. Nice restaurants nearby, would especially recommend Poco Wine about 15 mins drive away. Would definitely be back to explore more of the natural beauty in the area.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. From the garden you can take a nice walk along the Royal Military Canal. We spent 1 night here, but you could stay here longer and explore more of the area.

April provided everything that we may have needed in regards to toiletries. The light snack/ breakfast was a plus, thank you!

Perfect place for our needs visiting family in the area…..everything you need for a short stay including unexpected iron and board which my partner was delighted to find as his shirt was crumpled by the journey! Comfortable bed and extra blankets were a nice touch too as well as hot drinks tray. Thank you Stephanie

A warm and welcoming flat, comfortable bed, modern bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Milk, juice and cereal were provided, along with coffee and tea, which was a nice touch, so were the fresh flowers. The hosts were friendly, flexible and helpful. It’s a basement, so if it’s cold outside and you need to keep the inner doors in front of the glass doors closed, it might feel a bit dark and closed off, but if you’re out and about most of the day or it’s spring/summer time, that shouldn’t be a problem. Great area with good cafes, shops and restaurants!

Natalie’s place is amazing inside and out. Extremely close to the Chanctonbury Ring trailhead. You can walk there in a matter of minutes. Along with other relaxing spots around the village of Washington. The local pub is also only a short stroll. If visiting this part of West Sussex, it’s highly recommended to book Natalie’s accommodation as soon as possible. My family stayed for over a week and enjoyed every second. Thanks again!

My Dad and I stayed for a night while visiting the area and would definitely recommend! Pros: The place was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils etc, the living room and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the shower was great with lots of hot water. It was easy to check in and the location was ideal. Cons: Not much to complain about to be honest! It did get a little chilly as we went out and didn't get back till late, but we put the electric heaters on for a bit once back, and it warmed up pretty quickly - there were also lots of blankets available but we didn't end up needing them Overall would definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Loved the stay, was amazingly cosy and well presented. It was in a peaceful area with minimal outside noise, which suited our needs perfectly. Steve was a very responsive host. One thing I will suggest is perhaps a bigger bin for guests using the cooking facilities, as we struggled to fit even the ready meal packaging we had into the bin. Other than that, everything was great! Thanks very much :)

Our third stay, clean and tidy as we have experienced previously.

We fell in love with this place at first sight. It’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, and the apartment has everything you could possibly need. My partner is a chef, and it’s usually very hard to find a place he’s happy with — but here he cooked every day for three days! The apartment is cozy, full of thoughtful little touches, and just a joy to be in. Everything is super convenient, and the views are absolutely stunning. One of the true highlights of our trip was the summer house — a perfect, quiet spot to sit and read comfortably. Julie was wonderful — always in touch, she met us when we arrived and saw us off when we left. Truly the best kind of host. An amazing stay overall — we went for walks, relaxed, and came away feeling completely refreshed and in love with the whole experience.

Andrew's place was the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Larger than usual, good to have a separate bedroom and living area. All very clean and tidy. An included breakfast was mentioned, and the one Andrew supplied was better than we expected. A good diverse selection.

Very private and next to a beautiful park, great for running.

Must be one of the best and best value AirBnB in West London. Accommodation is excellent with highlights being; very clean, large comfortable bed, modern bathroom, comfortable living kitchen, great sheltered sunny outside relaxing area, innumerable well designed and thought out details that make this a home from home. Hosts are very helpful and kind with lots of suggestions for places to eat, etc. Their suggestion to go to Hampton Court Palace by the Turks boat was the best possible way to arrive and only £10 return. Highly recommended!!

My wife and I had a wonderful overnight stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect – so convenient for accessing trains to London. The self contained unit itself was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout (Elizabeth provided a full bottle of milk, coffee pods and biscuits!). The bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Communication with Elizabeth was excellent. They were incredibly responsive and provided all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and a pleasant stay. We felt very well looked after. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect base for our weekend getaway, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future. Highly recommended!

Great one night stay in the little cabin. It’s very compact with everything you need and it feels super homely. Just a few minute walk to the high street, so ideally located in a quiet neighbourhood. Does get chilly at night but there is a heater available to use. Thanks so much Nick!

Steve's place was perfect for our two-night stay. Although very compact, it had everything we needed, and Steve and Jo had added lots of welcoming touches, including breakfast things and even an Easter egg! There are beautiful walks on the South Downs on the doorstep, and Steve and Jo provided lots of useful information about restaurants and things to do in Lewes. Recommended!

Lots of space, clean, comfortable and good location. Liz is a great host, made us feel welcome and was quick to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend it.

Brilliant place to stay. Lovely garden area, private. The hosts thought of absolutely everything. The weather was lovely...unfortunate really as if it had rained for a couple of days the house was stocked with loads of decent DVD's, games and books! My wife has some mobility issues but managed everything she needed to. Highly recommended, thankyou.

A Hidden Gem! 🌿🌼 This property was spotless and super easy to access without meeting the host. It offered a wonderful sense of privacy, making it a perfect little retreat. The garden was my favorite spot – I enjoyed my morning tea while soaking in the soothing birdsong. 🌸🐦 The shower was refreshing, and while the bed was a tad soft on one side, I still had a good sleep. A lovely touch – the host even left a homemade loaf of bread for breakfast! 🙌🍞 With both TV and WiFi available, plus easy parking, this place had it all. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing escape!
