Holiday rentals with a patio in River Shannon

We stayed in 6 other places around Ireland before arriving in Newport. Mary and Phil’s place felt so comfortable right away! Lots of space, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, great bathroom. Nice quiet view of the river with a balcony. Easy parking and walkable to town. Kelly’s Kitchen was great for breakfast, and the Gráinne Uaile bar had awesome trad music! Mary and Phil were full of ideas for where to go for music and what to do on rainy days. So appreciated!

Very good was brilliant, apartment was better than any 5 star hotel verywarm with a great shower great view's, great location, playground pub shop all within walking distance, would go back in heartbeat, hoping to stay again next year if available , Would highly recommend

This place looked just like the pictures - actually it was bigger than we expected!! Beautiful location, super clean. Full kitchen was perfect for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. Absolutely lovely and would return!!

I'm booking this place on behalf of my dad so I'm not able to personally comment on her place. Marilyn's check in instructions was very clear and according to my dad, she is a friendly host and he enjoyed his stay a lot in the airbnb. Thanks a lot for hosting him!

Pat was a great and friendly host! Perfect location close to Galway city center but far enough removed from the crowds. Kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and drive way for rental car was nice as well. Rooms were spacious and allowed us to spread out. Pat gave excellent tips and recommendations for Galway and the surrounding cities as well, all were great. Will look to stay here again next time we find ourselves in Galway! Thank you again Pat!

We had a lovely overnight stay at Ben’s place. Check-in was super easy, the studio was clean and cozy, and the setting was peaceful. Ben’s instructions were clear, and communication was great. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed every minute of our time at Joan's lovely loft. Joan was so warm and welcoming and I enjoyed our chats over the garden fence. The loft is very cozy and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for our holiday. You can't beat the location either, just a short walk into town or right to the sea. We loved taking the 401 bus into Galway for a stroll and dinner, you can pick it up just steps away from the house. Joan's is definitely one of my top favorite Air BnB's and I will look forward to visiting again! Don't miss it if you are coming to Galway for a visit.

I stayed at Selina’s apartment for 4 nights. It’s situated in a beautiful Irish country setting halfway between Fethard and Killenaule. From the very start I felt right at home. The apartment itself is very spacious and well laid out. It has everything you’d need. Selina had even provided milk and basic foodstuffs and plenty for breakfast. When I arrived she had a beautiful fire on which made it very welcoming. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Selena is an excellent host and extremely helpful and generous. You will see this for yourself when you book it. I would definitely stay again. Thank You!

Maureen is a wonderful host. We had a late check-in, she waited for us, told us how and what to use in the house, recommended places to visit, bought us food, which was very nice of her. The house is located on a tranquil street, but at the same time, there is a shop nearby and only about 30 minutes to the city center. All photos correspond to reality. The house has everything necessary for a comfortable stay, and we felt at home. Many thanks, Maureen, we had a lovely stay and will be happy to return to your home again!

Everything was as expected.

Great jumping point for all to do around and beyond Clifden. The town has all you need and yet is just that - a village. The house has everything you need - well-stocked kitchen, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, great books. Felt right at home!

Cottage by the sea is a beautiful family home in a stunning location. Nothing was any trouble to Simon and our needs were well looked after. the house and gardens were so nice we didn't want to leave, yet there were so many beautiful walks and things to do nearby. A great location for anyone wanting to explore Westport and it's surroundings but want a quieter location just outside the town.

We had a lovely stay in Jacqueline’s home. The house was very clean and in a great location. The bed linen was spotless. The beach and restaurants were in a short walking distance. Jacqueline was very accommodating of our requests and responded almost immediately to any questions we had. She also provided extra little touches which were a lovely treat. I would definitely recommend Jacqueline’s house to anyone looking to stay in Enniscrone.

The house is a beautifully kept home from home. It had everything needed and plenty of space for families. It’s only a short drive to Castleblayney. Bernard is very responsive from booking to check out and he made the visit very stress free with providing exact information needed. A lovely welcome pack was also provided on arrival. Excellent accomodation all round.

We had a great stay over the Christmas period. The house was beautifully decorated including a tree. The house was perfect in every manner and we look forward to visiting again in the future Donal, Leslie & Family

What a gorgeous, peaceful, and well stocked home! The scenery is a pastoral postcard, and the home is on a private, quiet cul-de-sac (many neighbors are full time residents ~ friendly, quiet, considerate). We have two dogs, and we were grateful to find a dog-friendly residence AND with so many amazing forest trails less than five minutes from the house ~ heaven! And the home ~ 3 bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms ~ a well stocked kitchen, a most comfy living room with a great TV, a fireplace ~ all so convenient and comfortable. We needed a place for two months as we are moving to the area, but it takes so long here to close on a house, so we weren't just vacationing; we were LIVING there. Still, it had all we needed for day-to-day living. Miriam was immediately responsive when we contacted her, but honestly, we never needed anything so we rarely needed to be in touch. In sum, it was a remarkable deal for such comfort in an amazing area We feel quite lucky.

Had a fabulous stay at Ash Lodge! Maureen and John are fabulous hosts and made us feel right at home! The location is incredibly peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The place was beautifully furnished and wonderfully homely and comfortable - would highly recommend!

One of the best Air BnB’s we have stayed in , particularly for Ireland and for a dog friendly space. Instructions were very clear and accessible was easy. The apartment is very well laid out and has everything you need and more - we only wished we could have stayed longer.

Great location! Walkable to town and a close drive to the Cliffs of Moher!

Michelle’s place was in a great location so close to all the things in the city and just outside! We enjoyed the modern decor and the patio outside was so cute! We stayed over St Patrick’s day, so it was a bit loud outside at times, but, the place was comfy and suited our family of 5 adults well. Would book again on a return trip.

Anne and John made us feel like part of their Irish family 🥹 Their kindness, generosity, and warmth truly touched us. We had so much fun getting to know them and their beautiful home. The cottage is simply perfect — nestled in nature with breathtaking views, so nice decoration taste, and full of thoughtful details: coffee, tea, biscuits, fresh milk, delicious fresh eggs, snacks, and even a surprise homemade banana and chocolate cake from Anne that was absolutely divine ! The bed is so comfy ! The shower as well. All is cosy and feels like home ! Their adorable dogs became our loyal companions during the stay, and John kindly showed us around his beautiful farm and the newborn lambs — a magical experience. 😍 It’s a peaceful paradise we’ll never forget. We’d give it 6 stars if we could! Thank you both a thousand times — we’ll treasure this memory forever 🥰🙏

Beautiful home and location and excellent communication with the hosts, unfortunately didn't get to meet them but they are super friendly and hopefully see them next time. Beautiful apartment in gorgeous location. It was so cozy and comfortable- and spotless!! Kieran and Sue couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay. We didn’t want to leave! We’ll definitely be returning.
